Since all of you in one form or another answered "Yes" that you feel people should take responsibility for their actions, do you believe the following:

Abortions should only be allowed for victims of rape and incest? If no, then why shouldn't the two people who did the deed to make the baby have to live with the consequence?

We should not raise minimum wage? If no, should those people who desire not to make anything of themselves live comfortably for their laziness (eg: Not getting an education, not working hard to get out of poverty)? And, it's a common fact that the mentally and physically handicapped can, and many do, work, so don't use that excuse.

If a person is convicted of brutal premeditated murder, he/she should be put to death? If not, why should the family of the victims and the tax payers in general be forced to provide them a comfortable life in prison until they die naturally?

I asked a question a few minutes ago and used the word "Jew" - instead of "Isreali". Within two minutes I was advised that the word :Jew" was derogatory! (along the same lines as another term used for Black people)! I never heard this before!. As a matter of fact, I see that term used very often here. And in my town, there is a newspaper whose editors are Jewish and the name of the newspaper is "The ______ State."
Have I missed something? Plus I hear many people speaking of J's and they never never refer to them as Isrealis!!! Plus we find that word in the Bible. Plus we always hear about the Jews and the Gentiles! SInce when did the term "Jew" become derogatory??!!

i quit my job today after my boss accused me of stealing on tape, i went to the office and viewed/tried to explain the tape. it does look like i am taking something but i AM NOT ...i didnt steal from him. the time period was so long ago i cant even recall what was in my hand. he has threatened me over the phone and now to press charges..but i didnt steal anything?! can he do that?! should i seek an attorney?! hes been accusing me for several days now. what should i do?! hes slightly crazy heh, and i;m kind of fearing for my life atm. should i wait it out? should i not answer his calls? i didnt steal from him it just looks like i am doing so? its hard to explain.

My views are primarily conservative, but im only in highschool and i want to know the democratic/liberal defense on pro-choice; why do they think they have the right to kill a baby when it isn't the baby's fault, after all they were responsible enough to make the child, why not give it up for adoption i quite frankly think its wrong, except for a few exceptions which i will tell you if you oppose my stance so great enough to email me, your thoughts.

I am joining the army national guard. I need help with choosing my MOS. I don't want to end up on the battle field, however, I still want to kick major ***. My only optional selections so far have been psy. ops (37F) or Human Intell.(97E). I just need some advice on this, and I don't want to end up being a food specialist or mechanic/engineer.

Last year, I got a letter in the mail saying for me to call a number the evening before to know if I was suppose to show up to court the following day, I ignored it, Then I got another one a few weeks ago, and I said I was going to call the number but I forgot, I just remembered about it yesterday, so I missed it. But how do the courts know that I received the notice, I could have moved or been away on vacation somewhere, its not like someone served me the papers. Have you ever ignored a jury duty notice and what happened?

I just got this on my Yahoo news alert. It talks about how 2 US businessmen who were held captive in Mexico. It also looks like the US Govt is downplaying the incident along with the media just like when the National Guard was overran by unknown assailants on the Arizona border. Just out this line in the article...
"Gustavo Jimenez III and Robert Ovalle each were abducted separately in what the FBI said was a case of mistaken identity over a “faulty business transaction.” "

A case of mistaken identity?? Didn't they use that line in the National Guard incident a couple of weeks ago?!?

How much longer til average Americans living along the border are snatched and taken back to Mexico for ransom?!?
