If there is a warrant for someone in the state of Iowa, do the airlines have that persons name on a list that automatically scans to see if someone is exiting or entering the state? A friend of mine has an outstanding warrant in a state and was needing to go back to that state to take care of business. Should he expect the police to be waiting for him when he gets off that plane?

Why is it ok to go get drunk and stay that way for an entire night, but you can't go get blitzed with your friends and be high for 3 hours? I personally think our country is making a mistake by not legalizing weed because it is the #1 cash crop in america right now. Do you know how much money the gov. could get of taxes put on the selling and distribution of pot? ALOT!

last night i saw a car carrying a big picture of Saddam in his most innocent face possible. i dont understand what r they mourning for? sadam killed many ppl, but y do some ppl think jus cuz he has been hanged some how by americans,he deserves to be a saint?
isnt that enough that one dictator removed from this world? idefinitely believe that Bush is wrong? but y r they showing their opposition over the hanging of Saddam?

I get out of the Army in about 23 months,I wanted to change branches and go in to the Air Force but people keep telling me the Air Force isn't taking Prior Service from the Army, so Is this true or what?, I know someone out there can help me here, It would be greatly appreciated.

I'm currently a 3rd year UCLA student pursuing a career in medicine. My family came to the US from the Philippines in 1993 under my dad's L-1 Visa. I graduated from my high school at the top of my class, have worked numerous jobs, pay for my car, rent, and even have my own online jewelry business. HUGE problem though -- I'm undocumented and am unable to get financial aid. My father's visa expired some time ago and because of problems with INS papers, the visa is now out-of-status and our case cannot be appealed. I DO have a social security number, a valid employment authorization card, a CA driver's license, work for a US company, and pay taxes. However, I am unable to get federal financial aid because I am neither a US citizen or a Permanent Resident. I am really struggling with paying tuition, so I am wondering if there is ANY way I can start the legalization process at this point. Med school is expensive, and without aid, I don't think I'll be able to go. Any advice?

a natural reflex by other countries to stand up to American domination in global economics? Bush, elected in 2000, is very stubborn and Right winged....Chavez extremist Leftist granted sweeping power this last month (nationalized businesses.... President of Iran , extremist Right wing fundamentalist talking nukes since 2005.....couldn't be a coincidence...oh forget Korea....Is some of this because the US is the only super power and throwing its weight around?

Trust me, I'm not one of those bleeding hearts who think we all have to love each other and everything has to be sweetness and light. That being said, I don't understand anti-Semitism. Jews don't generally fly planes into buildings, there are decidedly few Jews on welfare, and nobody is trying to force me to learn Hebrew.

They're OK in my book.

the basis of asking this question is that Republicans say that business pass it on... so should we just cut it out altogether and raise the person income tax to make up for it?

My friend is married to a women who was formally an illegal imigrant. They had a child and now she is threatening to leave the country with there baby. He is way against this and putting up with alot of abuse to make sure she doesnt leave. What rights does she have to leave and what rights does he have to keep his child in the country with him? Basicly can she just up and leave the countrty with there baby and what can he do to insure this doesnt happen?

I was at the food store and I was constipating buy chapstick/lip gloss and I guess it looked like I put it in my bag.. well I didnt..20 mins later, i was paying for my food and trying to leave and some woman was waiting for me and said "come with me" and we went to the back room and the guy shut the door and was like "give us back our merchindise"well i was sooo confused! And the woman was like "WATCH THE TAPE", while we were watching it she was going through my bag...
so she realized from the tape I didnt steal, I put it back...
and then they were apologizing and offering me a gift card...
well I didnt take one I was shaking too much and crying..
well I called my lawer friend who said this is illeagal and told me to sue. I called the cops and they said it was illegal to detain someone who didn't steal..
but I don't want to sue them. i just want to forget it... but my lawyer friend said to sue....

When in Minnesota the congress approved a taxpayer funded stadium for the Twins while Minneapolis shut down three libraries. Now I like the Twins, but I like the idea of a good future for our children better. Sounds like the wrong issue was on the ballot to me. Tax increases? I will fight them until I die. What we need is less special interest spending and more money going to public services.

I was arrested in march of 06 for battery involving bodily injury against my daughter. she is 14. going on 24. i am a police officer who is not in the popular clique at the police station. the chief reported on the local news and in the newspaper that i "beat" my daughter. the chief said at the time to my wife, with my mother present, that if she(my wife) had slapped her daughter, he would not have arrested her but that he could not have his officers acting this way. the incident happened on the front porch of my home, i was not on duty, not in uniform, a neighbor heard the yelling and saw me swing my arm back right before i slapped her. i never hit her face because she was using her hands to shield her head, i hit her hands with an open palm. when the police showed up(close to a dozen of them), they failed to ask her brother, my older son about the incident even though he had witnessed the entire thing. also, i never intended to slap her, just sit her down on the porch.

according to my contract I was finished paying for the car.When I contacted him about my title thats when he said I owed $758.00 in finance charges that was on a separate contract.I told him I knew nothing of any such contract.he has not showed me any such contract but he has the repo man callin my daughter and I saying he is gonna obtain a warrant for my arrest.Are these people legit in their actions?
