No. That never works. It doesn't matter how well meaning I and this dictator are, we cant possibly make the right decisions for everybody.

No!

How can you share all the same beliefs as a dictator when you don't have a clue what they really are or how they are going to be translated!

People within their party don't hold the same beliefs, and I doubt if your family does either!

And when he/she went against the beliefs that you thought you shared, what would yo do then?

Even if you and the dictator had all those things in common he'll still be corrupted by the power once he tastes it - and his beliefs will promptly change.

My moral beliefs preclude dictatorships, so it is theoretically impossible. I think that anyone who becomes a dictator is automatically immoral.

The word "dictator" implies forced compliance to his rules, insinuating that he would murder those who publicly object to his policies. I would not support a dictator on those grounds.

No. I think it was why there was always this nagging doubt I had with Bush when I did support him during the first years of his Presidency. Because the man may have shared some of my beliefs at the time, but there was something about the man that bothered me.

No, because I feel it is important and productive that leaders not only work form their views and beliefs but others as well.

Why wouldn't you? You might even move to their country. Of course, if we keep going the way we are in our country (USA) it will be the same thing. Just keep letting the liberals have a good time making allowances for EVERYONE that whines a bit.
