How come terrorist is not as derogatory as that "******" word?

I would suppose it is because "******" is a derogatory term directed at one particular race - blacks. Terrorist is a term used to describe anyone from Timothy McVeigh to Osama Bin Laden. A terrorist is a person who uses certain types of attacks or tactics for the purpose of achieving certain social or political goals.

If, as I suspect, you are viewing the word terrorist as only applying to middle eastern persons, a more appropriate derogatory slang term might be "raghead" or "camel jockey," these are demeaning terms directed at middle easterners that would be comparable to calling a black man a "******"

Terrorist describes the actions of a person but does not degrade their nationality. The terrible ***... word degrades a person based on the color of their skin and has NOTHING to do with the actions( Good Or Bad) of that person. It is a raciest slam of the worst kind and is in no way at any time acceptable.

Never really thought the N word was derogatory, watch MTV or listen to the radio and it seems to be a term of endearment if not at least one just a popular in usage as "Man", "dude" and unfortunately far more popular than "Sir".

I'd say terrorist is more derogatory than N*gga, due to it's legal implications. Also most people will never admit to "hating n*ggas"
but they will all say they hate terrorists. That said it's derogatory effects are far more well placed on the individuals who fit the definition of the term.

for one, black people have been called that word for doing nothing except breathing. terrorists, by and large, have terrorized and that is why they are called that.

Depends on whether you're a liberal or not. ****** is a word we use for the black people we don't like, and terrorist is for the people who terrorize us. Liberals are politically correct and think that n***** is a horrible word, and that we have nothing to fear from terrorists. They believe that we can negotiate with terrorists and try to make things all better. I believe they're equal. I hate them both with a passion.
