Trust me, I'm not one of those bleeding hearts who think we all have to love each other and everything has to be sweetness and light. That being said, I don't understand anti-Semitism. Jews don't generally fly planes into buildings, there are decidedly few Jews on welfare, and nobody is trying to force me to learn Hebrew.
They're OK in my book.

Brickity: You mean Judea and Samaria? Why is Israel the only nation expected to return territory seized from an aggressor enemy? Who controls Alsace-Lorraine these days? How about the Sudetenland? Gdansk?

Some is still theologically based, particularly in Moslem countries & Europe. Some is due to the fact that jews tend to be high profile & few in number. High profile makes Jews a target for people who want to point blame & small numbers make Jews vulnerable.
As Martin Lutrher King stated "Anti Zionism IS anti Semitism".
That is a distinction without a difference.

Your question doesn't distinguish between Jews and Zionists who want to integrate the occupied territories into Israel.
Antisemitism comes from when the Jews were in Europe, and the ignorant Europeans and Russians didn't want them there. That has to do with nationalism. There are also a ton of whackjobs that believe that the Jews control all money and media. This is because in the middle ages, they could grant loans with interest, which Christians couldnt. They are also really funny, so have made great gains in the field of entertainment, particularly comedy writing.
Antizionism has to do with the manner in which land was siezed to form Israel back in 1948. There are legit reasons to be antizionist. Regarding your comment that agressors who lose battles lose land, sure. However just because an aggressor wins a battle, and gets to take the land, doesn't make it right. Israelis were the aggressors in 48.
Who is trying to force you to learn a language?

me too. growing up i never did understand it. still don't, but now i can see that some people just live for hate.
my mother told me not long ago she thought a part of it was people blaming them for crucifying Christ. that makes zero sense to me, like the Jews today were alive 2000 years ago? anyway, she said that she thinks another part of it is that Jews tend to be very successful at whatever they do so that makes other people jealous. oh and that whole "they're God's people" thing.
all i know is, they're cool with me. i actually feel like they get picked on too much by the whole world and that makes me want to defend them.

Jews brought personal accountability into the lives of men.
That is, until Judaism, man only lived in the present being absent of thought about his actions having repercussions after death.
Seems the world has never forgiven them for this.
