The manager there want me out. She recently held a meeting with me and wrote a letter saying that I have 10 cigarette breaks per day (untrue) has questioned my sickness ( broken toe which I have evidence of) and just is basically making me feel terrible.

She has been typing up minutes from our meeting for the past 2 days and when I questioned her about the outcome she said she was seeking legal advice and waiting on their decision.

I got sick 3 times today because of worry, have been crying, losing sleep and it seems there is nothing I can do because i have been there only 2 1/2 months.

She has let the power go to her head, hidden bullying really leaving me dangling on a string. Does anyone know what i can do?

There haven't been major civil defense concerns in the US since the cold war. We have FEMA and Homeland Security which also handles civil defense but is that really enough to prepare us for a major disaster such as a nuclear attack? Should the US more thoroughly prepare its citizens by starting a nationwide volunteer civil defense program? Would people take it seriously? Are there any down sides to a nationwide civil defense program?

Somewhere between 80%-90% of our citizens believe that our borders should be closed off to illegal crossing into the U.S. That means conservative, liberals & others for the most part want this to happen. The other 10%-20% represent conservitve business owners who want cheap labor & far left liberals who think our border should be wide open & buy the way Texas, New Mexico, Airazona & most of California should belong to the Mexicans. Am I hearing this right? If I am why does our politicains give these issues lip services during election time but do nothing afterward?

this is NOT true. It's just hard for them cause many have lived in their country for so long that it's hard to learn another language. You try learning spanish or portugese or french. It's not an easy thing. Most of them speak english but with a heavy accent. If you're so appalled at how they don't speak english, why don't you teach them.

I was arrested for a felony but the DA is willing to drop it to a gross misdeameanor. I have gone to court but my hearing is extending until the end of next month. I am wondering what will show up on my background check if somebody runs one now? Will it show I was arrested and what for? Or that I am being charged with this crime? I have not been formally charged with anything yet or gone in front of the judge.
