It should not be legal. It's like fencing illegal goods.

Adoption rules are complex , and more so in a situation like this. Although the child cannot be found inadmissible to the US as a result of her illegal status due to her age, there are other pitfalls you need to dodge as well. You really need to consult an attorney who specializes in adoptions.

Hi,

I would go and see an immigration lawyer, if finances are an issue you can apply to see one through legal aid. They know the ins and outs of the entire immigration process and will walk you through it, and attend the hearing to represent the child. They can work on her citizenship first and then you can apply to adopt her after that.

Best of luck to you!

You need the services of a family law attorney. You might think it's too expensive, but you need to consider you're running the risk of losing the child. You can't put this off any longer.

If you can marry an illegal immigrant to make her legal , i'm sure it works on the same principle.

Sure - and send the "illegal alien criminal" mom back to Mexico. BTW, there is no such thing as illegal immigration. "Immigrants" are here legally!
