I have had over £1300 in fines, most are parking tickets for parking outside my own flat, which are unavoidable since I dont own a helicopter and dont have a heli-pad. Other fines include selling a car that was in the end (after5 months) without tax, fault of the new owner!! I am staggered at my punishment for simply going about my daily business, which in no way has harmed any body else, my crime is simply "That is the law" I think that the government would be screwed if people stopped commiting these "crimes" and would up the rate of income tax to compensate, "crime pays for the government"!!!!!!! Where does this fine money go???

Does anyone else feel these treaties have out lived their intended purpose? Every conflict/war the US has become involved with, since the "creation" of these international laws, the opposition doesn't follow any of these laws. Instead they use them to their advantage. If you were permitted to do whatever it takes to win the war, do you think there would be as much opposition causing as many casualties? Just think of all the wars we have lost or aborted because we couldn't win. You can't use conventional warfare against unconventional forces (Why the Brits lost against the US...twice). What happened to the saying "All's fair in love and war". Anyone agree or have some other intelligent insight?

of a bank refusing to cash a check from their bank unless you had an account there or agreed to be fingerprinted?

This recently happened to someone I know, a business owner cashing a check. He did not have an account there, the check was from their bank, and was told that that was their policy.

I am going into army basic at Benning in a month and I really suck at running. I can run one mile in 8:15 sec but I feel like collapsing after that. I plan to maybe work my way up to two miles by the time I go in and I am running everyday. My question is, are they going to make me run 5 miles right away when I get in? How much will they make me do? Please ONLY qualified people answer and no people who went to basic 50 years ago lol. Thanks :)

BAGHDAD: As President George W. Bush challenges public opinion at home by committing more soldiers to Iraq, he is confronted an Iraqi government that does not really want them.

The Shiite-led government here has not opposed more troops. Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki said as much in a videoconference with Bush on Saturday. But the government is skeptical of American intentions and is determined to push back the reach of Washington's authority to run the war the way it wants:
Haidar al-Abadi, a member of Parliament who is a close associate of Maliki's, said: "The government believes there is no need for extra troops from the American side. The existing troops can do the job."

I just get the impression Conservatives are way of key on this subject....

You can support the troops, love America, be a full scale patriot, but dislike what this President stands for.. right?

"In a heated exchange with Hagel, a potential presidential candidate in 2008, Rice disputed his characterization of Bush’s buildup as an “escalation.”

“Putting in 22,000 more troops is not an escalation?” Hagel, a Vietnam veteran and longtime critic of Bush’s Iraq policy, asked. “Would you call it a decrease?”

“I would call it, senator, an augmentation that allows the Iraqis to deal with this very serious problem that they have in Baghdad,” she said.

When my car was towed on 10/14/06 I never did and still have not recieved any kind of notification that they had my car and what would happen. Thats been 3 months now. I have been told they were gonna auction the car then told they wree gonna crush it. They were supposed to auction the car on 12/14/06. Now when I call they say it has been auctioned but they can't tell me how much for and won't send me anything to verify anything. And they say the bill is 1800.00. Which is the same amount before the car was supposed to be auctioned. If there is anyone who has been threw a similar situation any information would be helpful. I don't know what to do to get these people to work with me and really can't afford an attorney. I feel helpless cause i don't know any laws. Maybe a site I can go to to help me with this to let them know they can't push me around
Thank You

lets pretend the libtards didnt spend all their energy saying that bin ladin is only "accused". lets say they didnt spend all their time worrying about the rights of terrorists caught in iraq spending time in gitmo. lets pretend they werent leaking information about how we were tracking alquedas bank deposits. lets pretend they were supporting the troops and the president. lets pretend they were parroting al jazeera.

lets pretend that they were saying idiotic statements like "war for oil" while the united states spends billions to try to save the middle east to falling to our enemies.

lets pretend that they were interested in UNITING against our common enemey.

wouldnt we be done in iraq by now? i think we would.

the libtards count dead soldiers every day like its a scalp to hang on their wall. just a politcal game. sick sick sick

Emira Woods , is the co-director of Foreign Policy In Focus at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, D.C..

Woods began by distinguishing between the two sides in the conflict and how the U.S. government has taken the action of destabilizing a popularly elected government in favor of helping remnants of the very warlords that killed American soldiers in 1993, to the cost of the Somali people who had finally found peace and stability after years of civil war and bloodshed.

Woods said that the transitional governing body that was made up of the remnants of the warlord factions formed in Nairobi and was only brought into Somalia this week with the help of the Bush administration. The transitional body has direct ties to the Aideed faction, the very same warlord American troops were killed and dragged through the streets of Mogadishu for trying to capture in 1993.
The Bush administration is helping empower the very same warlords that were fictionalized in "Black Hawk Down".

1. The Iraqi's DO want the U.S. in Iraq.?

2. The liberal media clearly twists things towards the direction they want to report?

Why didn't the following author say it like this:
(my interpretation) "The majority of Iraqi's (57%) originally wanted the United States to stay in Iraq indefinately. Now, the majority of sunni and shiites believe they can take control of the situation in a years time, and no longer think the US will be necessary after that time."
