Some people think we should deport all illegal aliens. But this would require us to detect, detain and deport 12 million people. In order to detect illegals, we need a massive investigative force of immigration enforcement officers, much more than we have now. Then they have to go arrest them and find space in jails that are already overcrowded. We'd have to build new jails and hire hundreds, possibly thousands, of detention officers. In order to deport someone, each individual must go through deportation proceedings. Under the current system, there may be many appeals and petitions for visas. This will require legal resources beyond what we have now. The actual deportation would involve taking the illegal aliens to their home country, not just to Mexico. The physical process of escorting and transporting 12 million people outside the country is quite an undertaking.

So my question is...am I wrong around this? Is there something I am missing? Does it make sense?

I have interest of finding pics of certain eras of military history, especially concerning early 1900,s. If one can find pictures of F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne Wy, in this same time period, I would be most grateful.

my question is in order for somone to be charged with a california vc 22349(violation of the maximum speed limit) the state(witness/cop) must first prove that vc22350 ( the basic speed law) was violated. So if the state cant prove that you were in violation of the basic speed law they cant charge you with a vc22349 correct???

Doesn't it seem suspicious that the newly elected Democratic Congress would pass an anti-terrorism bill without first authorizing a FULL-SCALE investigation into the never ending inconsistencies of the official 9/11 Commission Report? I mean WOW, that report is so inaccurate that "Forest Gump" would suspect fraud.

It sure seems suspicious to me. Sort of like there's NO DIFFERENCE between Democrats and Republicans.

Nancy Bush is Speaker of the House as far as I'm concerned.

I am a U.S. citizen and I dont feel that I am better than anyother human being or have done so much that I deserve a better country with better chances than anyone else so why do you?

It means friends. Yet people being the sheeps that they are hear the word used to describe Bush and think it means evil or bad. I guess they use the word to be fashionable about it since it is used to describe the President yet they don't know the definition. Why do people use the word "cronie" yet they don't know the definition?

I know what my opinions are on this, (I approve), but my first reaction was a tiny bit helps, but this is not enough of an effort to supply our own needs.

I have a source that has suggested that due to the heat and pressure in the earth's mantle and core, more petroleum is created each day than we as a planet could ever use up, ergo a potential endless supply, IF the stuff is retrieved correctly. I believe this is true, based on the heat factors of the sun and other stars that burn for millenia. (The fact that hes a physicist doesnt hurt either). I would like to gather some INFORMED feedback, doesnt matter pro or con. What gets you points with me is, have a message to send about the topic, but dont suck or tear down. Thanks!

I was in the kitchen and thought I heard something on the news that they may pass a $50 fine if you are caught smoking in the car with children present. Is this true? I couldn't find it on his website anywhere. If so, is California the only state who has this?

Thanks!

I am a US born citizen, and I applied for my wife and she has her green card already. I would like to know if there is any way to apply for my wife's parents. I was told some law was passed in May of 2003 that enables US citizens to sponsor in-laws (parents in law and sibilings also). Any help would be greatly appericated.
