I mean honestly other than being lucky enough to have been born here in the U.S. what have we really done to earn this? I am a U.S. citizen and I dont feel that I am better than anyother human being or have done so much that I deserve a better country with better chances than anyone else so why do you?

Because most Americans are selfish. Americans don't mind going to other countries, but they get really pouty when others go to America. This country was once called the the Land of the Free. But not anymore, because Americans way of thinking now is "mine, mine, mine".

Scorpio X is one of those selfish people I'm talking about. She had to cut and paste her opinions.

Because they think that they are more Important then us Mexicans and that we are nothing. Some of them also consideredd us like trash or something that's not worth, but there are does that do like us and back us up like when we went on strike I saw some Americans supporting them and marching in front of them with Mexican flags.Every American that likes us and doesn't have a problem with us I want to tell you that I love you.

Think about it! If us Mexicans or Latinos wouldn't had come here, then who else would be picking your fruits and food? Would you do it? don't think so. I have seen and known about Americans that rather be homeless then to be working on the fields picking Oranges or other kind of fruit. We have helped in the US economies a lot and even if you say no you do know it's true.

I considere my self more American than Mexican although I was born In Mexico but I was raised here in the US but I still love my country and I will never forget about it.US is the best country and it all ways will be and we all have the right to be here because we are all equal.

I love you U.S.A an I promise you that I will Merrie an America Girl.

that is correct,,, we were lucky enough to be born here. They were born in Mexico. That is their home country. I do not feel I am better than anyone, and I don't deserve a better country. I was born in this country that many men and women have fought for and died for. It is no fault of ours that these people were born in a country that has less opportunity than ours. This does not however give them the right to illegally cross our borders, take our identities, our jobs, our health care, our welfare, our schools.. am I making my point? There is no country in the world that would allow such an influx of immigrants illegally in their country. In Mexico the Guatemalans are treated horribly and even imprisoned. They say they are only in Mexico doing the jobs Mexicans do not want and only want a better life for themselves as well. It has come to a point, that even letters being sent home from school have a Spanish/English side. And before anyone says I am racist, I am not...my husband is an immigrant, here legally, speaks English AND became a US citizen. Most people do not have a problem with immigration.. it's ILLEGAL immigration regardless of what country they come from that is taxing this country.

Because we're U.S. citizens, we're here legally, we're documented. The reason you feel this way is because you chose to marry someone, who isn't here legally, and have a family.
