Doubtful. I'm sure they used a fake name to get the P.O Box. Unless the cops get really lucky and catch the person actually taking mail out of the box.

You should some Consumer Protection or Consumer Rights Advocate in your area. Consult with them and find out what options if any you have. There are laws protecting consumers against cons; scams and other get rich quick (by preying on others) schemes. If you have been scammed and there is nothing that can be done, you would be better off just chalking this up to a bad experience. Learn from it and next time, you can tell them to get lost.

Probably not. More than likely the box is registered to some old lady in Pakipse. If you think you are being scammed through the mail, google the letter head or persons name requesting info or the name of the company. If it is a scam, you will likely get hits on it.

It might be worth it to see if they can investigate.
ANymore the post office requires SOMEONE to sign up for the box.
If it is assigned to some little old lady, I bet she will talk as soon as the cops come and knock on her door.
She will probably feel bad for being part of a scam and want to turn him in to clear her own good name.
I would also contact the postal inspector.
he wont have to go thru all the red tape to find out who the box is registered to.
If you paid for said scam by your credit card via paypal ( call them and they can dispute the charge for you and they can investigate). It is funny how doors really open up when CHase bank gets involved!

The local police may be shackled, but the postal inspectors of the USPS are NOT. It is a federal crime to get a post office box and use it for illegal means. Talk to the postal inspections dept.
