From where I'm standing, all I see are cardboard cut-outs who play games in front of the TV cameras.
Will we ever see another Gandhi, or a Martin Luther King? Somebody who will lay down their life for what's right in the world.

My grandfather homestead Oregon land. He met all the requirements to own this land. He was NOT a swatter. He died in 1939 without a will or any probate records to be found. Without any documentation, would that land not automatically go to his heirs? The land patent signed by the president of the United States say that the land is his and his heirs FOREVER. If he did not sell it, could the heir claim ownership of it?

During WWII there were several different types of infantry: Anti-tank riflemen, Commanders, Grenadiers, Light Machine Gunners, Mission leaders, Paratroopers, Riflemen, Sapper-Engineers, Snipers, and Sub Machine Gunners.

How many types of infantry are there today? and why are they all referred to as GI (General Infantry)?

There was a issue at my son's school where the teacher stood in front of the class, and made a announcement that basiclly drew attention to my son and his friend. She wants students to come to her if they have a complanit, exspeacilly if my son was involed. And if so she will make sure that he will be removed from school. I am not saying my son is a angel but for a teacher to singal him out like that is wrong, and all the school wants me to do is put my complaint in writing and they will look it over...I would like to add that my son is white and his teacher is black... I point this out because I feel if it was the other way around this would be handle in a different and more quickly matter.

An Israeli soldier out of counscience told the world that thier armies are behaving as the Nazis did when it invaded Poland .... that was covered by every major news agency for 2 days and then it has disapeared. WHY ?

There was another major story of civilan corpses chared black with what was thought to be chemical weapons used on Lebonon's civilians . That news story disapeared almost imediately after being published . WHY?

Israel bombed a 30 yr old well marked UN camp with a Canaidian in it . They claimed it was an error but then it was reported that the UN troops stationed in this well known observatory called the Israeli defense dept more than 10 times to say You are to close .... they countered that Hamas was operating in that area It was later reported they were operating some 15 miles from the UN camp - That story disapeared fairlty fast after that . WHY ?

Ity would seem very suspicious wouldn't it?

the driver is 15, does not have a license.. and 3 people were in the backseat--we were drunk. Of course we got caught, we fled the scene STUPIDLY because we thot we mite not get caught...i was the only person who came back 2 tha scene and they were glad of that. but i also was the first person to get a breathalizer, i live in kansas..so rules here may be different than rules in other states, i blew a .117, so obviously im going to probably be on diversion and get an MIC.. the other people wil most likely be charged with fleeing tha scene, tha police told me it was really good and "brave" i came back to the scene and it will look better on my record. Do you think I will be charged with anything else other than diversion for 6 months and an MIC (the MIC will be taken off my record w tha help of diversion...) **Many of my friends have had this same incident, just not gettin in a wreck..jus the MIC and blowing MUCH more than me and have just been put on diversion for 6 months...** Answers?

My sisters and I are permanent residents. My dad however became a citizen before we all turned 18. I was told by someone that since my dad became a citizen before we all turned 18, that we don't have to go through the naturalization process. All we have to do is pay a fee to get our citizenship. Can any of you tell me if that is true and how would I go about doing that? Please no smart/snide remarks--only people who actually know what they are talking about.

I am well aware your company has a right to patrol your use of a company PC. This means they are allowed to install spyware on your PC, plus monitor email and internet activity. What I would like to know is, when does that line cross over into employee harassment? I work in IT, and come into work every day with one goal in mind, to do my job. My boss however, has decided to put spyware on my pc and that of only one other person. Both of us are his only two employees. He also hacks into our security directors cameras and keeps the security camera pointed at myself and one other employee. I have tried the professional resolve, and talked to him about it, telling him that he's making me feel very uncomfortable in the workplace, and he brushes me aside. Recently I have decided my only way to rectify my situation is to leave this company as a result, but what I want to know is, where does someone cross the line? When does this become employee harassment?
