We have yet to see if she can deliver. To be fair, she has been a speaker of the House for less than an hour now.

The assumption, however, will be "same ole, same ole" unless otherwise proven.

When has it ever not been the 'same ole, same ole'? It's a power struggle and while it's understandable for people to have their beliefs.. It's a stupid thing to have running the government. But things are never clear at all in any political aspect anymore..

Just remember that in party politics the agenda tops all other allegiances. This is equally true of Republicans and Democrats. The funny thing about politics in this country is trying to hard to serve the interests of the people over the interests of the party appears to be the fastest way to get voted out of office. It's a sad commentary, but a true one none the less.

I think it's going to be the same. The dems said what they needed to say to get elected and then changed it once they got in. Cindy Sheehan and her crowd are already angry because they thought the dems in congress were going to immediately cut the funding for the war. Didn't happen. So, things haven't changed.

Unless they have come up with a new breed of human, its same old same old, with a democratic twist so the middle and lower class suffer a bit less, and big business and the filthy rich pay a bit more.

Her biggest problem is going to lie within her own party, when she realizes that 1) Hillary is going to be her biggest competition for attention (being both very powerful women in America) and 2) many of the Southern Democrats are FAR more conservative than her

For the little look i get on it,it doesn't look good at all form the Democrats perspective that is.
Remember the campaign,like all the things they now have already dropped.I fear they could disappoint many good people who voted for change

It is up to Democrats to pressure her to keep her spine against Dictator Dumbya. We have to have a parade and invite her to lead. No politician can resist that.
