My mother abandon me when I was 13. Decades ago.
I recently found out she died a year ago. And she left me one dollar in her will. She did the same with her two brothers. The only 2 people got money in the will her sister and one nephew. Her husband (whom she was separated from) didn't even get a dime.
Her will was made in Idaho, she died in Florida. In her will it states she is single but she was still married. There was a change that was made in the will and it wasn't initialed by anyone. And it was not probated, just carried out.
Do I have any legal grounds to challenge the will?

My parents want to take out a restraining order on someone FOR me. My dad also wants a restraining order for himself from the person (my dad doesn't live in my house, though). I was just wondering if they could do that without my consent and since I am 17 now and will be 18 in 2 months can I have it lifted once I'm 18? How do I do that? The reason they want it is because they don't want me seeing the person and have a tape of him saying he's going to break someones arms or something.....please help, btw, I live in columbus in ohio.
also, exactly how long does it take to put a restraining order in place and how will I know when, or if, it got granted? And....how do I go about lifting it once im 18 if I want to....

I can't stant Rush Limbaugh, so I don't listen to the idiot - along with Sean Hannity, Anne Coulter, and Bill O'Reilly. I just don't watch them or listen to them. I don't like rap music, so I don't buy it or I flip the station when it comes on. So, why do the troll haters even reply? Shouldn't you just be adults and ignore???

I've read this is the costliest war we've ever been in. I'm sure the dollar amount says as much but what is causing it? This war is probably one of the smallest scale wars we've ever faught.

Is it a simple matter of inflation?
Is it the way we are fighting it?
Are we lumping reconstruction costs with military spending?
Do we lump normal anual military with Iraq war costs?

The numbers just don't add up here and something seems fishy.

Are the numbers being cooked? If so, by whome?

Most places won't hire a person who has been convicted of a felony. Even a non violent, never hurt a child, never stole anything felony, (just being in the wrong place at the wrong time and making a mistake)

The legal system wants these felons to find employment and live a regular life. Nothing wrong with that, many felons want that for theirselves. What I don't understand is why most businesses won't give these people a chance.

Bush decided yesterday that the polar bears need protection from the effects of global warming. Do reps agree with this decision? Or is it still all in Gore's head?

Americans, Canadians, and Mexicans were told years ago about how great it would be, yet the only people I've seen NAFTA work for are rich businessmen in the U.S. and Canada who ship their operations down to Mexico (and Asia, too) where they can exploit workers by paying them next to nothing. The U.S. and Canada used to have factories everywhere ... now they are all GONE. Instead, we have a sh*tload of call centers everywhere where workers make only slightly more than minimum wage. This is how I see NAFTA. Am I missing something here???

Based on the reality of the way Bush has shredded our constitution by, in ONE swipe of the pen, Bush's Military Tribunal Commission law has removed Habeas Corpus as a Constitutional Right for ALL citizens of the USA. And he did remove that right. If you read the actual words of the MTC law, you'll see that a person is in fact, "any person." That "any person" could be you, me or your wife, son, daughter, GRANDMOTHER, etc.

Our constitution has been shredded and I see a war coming and I see the United Nations enforcing it's own brand of law on the USA. And I believe it is and has been the plan for a very long time.

What are your thoughts?

Speaking about Saddam:

"His regime threatens the safety of his people, the stability of his region, and the security of all the rest of us.

What if he fails to comply, and we fail to act, or we take some ambiguous third route which gives him yet more opportunities to develop this program of weapons of mass destruction and continue to press for the release of the sanctions and continue to ignore the solemn commitments that he made?

Well, he will conclude that the international community has lost its will. He will then conclude that he can go right on and do more to rebuild an arsenal of devastating destruction.

And some day, some way, I guarantee you, he'll use the arsenal."
