Are the Liberals more kind towards human error than the Conservatives?

Libs are used to error and live with it openly, Repubs point fingers and spew hate towards others with error and use it to define them, yet only appologize for those within their Conservative cult. (why else would anyone cherish a priest that rapes boys)

Because she isn't a lush. A lush stays drunk constantly and makes everyone around them miserable while waiting on someone to rescue them.
Betty Ford not only stopped drinking, she created the Betty Ford Rehab center. She did something constructive.
Lush is really degrading word.

Apparently YOU are the one who is not capable of overlooking past human errors. Betty Ford is a recovered alcoholic and has always been embraced by the Rpublican party both as the ex-President's wife and for the good works she has done on her own right.

And bringing it up right now is particularly tacky. You are not portraying your Liberal party in a very good light, my silly friend.

Betty Ford admitted she was a lush and did something about it. She popularized recovery. Her public acknowledgment of her disease was a courageous act, which has accomplished a lot.

A conservative didn't ask the question.... So "kindness towards human error" does not seem to be a liberal Strong point..

I think more often than not the libs show themselves to be very intolerant. Who considers Betty Ford a "lush." I think she did great things for people everywhere.

The attitude of some (not necessarily all) conservatives is that once you have a problem or make a mistake, that mistake defines you for the rest of your life.

Because she currently does not drink andis an active participant in her program of recovery. Which is more than you can say for GDUBYA. Who is nothing more than a dry drunk.

Because she beat her addiction - and then opened a clinic to HELP OTHER people beat their addictions.

Why would you call someone a stupid name when they have LEARNED from their past and used their experiences to HELP OTHERS.

She found the strength to overcome her addictions. Why should anyone call her a lush? (Why would you call anyone a lush? That's cruel and unnecessary.)
