Why is the US military in Iraq? Should they give up?

They've proven internationally that they can't contain the insurgency. Is it time for something else like the UN to clear up this mess? How long do you guys want to keep digging that hole?

Since there's now a plethora of info proving that 9-11 WAS an inside job, if you still are a "disbeliever" do

you have the guts to watch "BookTV" (C-Span2) tonight, (Saturday) at 10 PM ET ?)

Or, can't you stand the thought of it possibly being true and have decided "head-in-the-sand" is your best option?

Nicholsons' words seem appropriate, "You can't handle the truth".

budgets and government?

Was thinking, with 2007 how many of you think the same as me? I think ALL state, federal, local govts should start publishing, every single budget penny, like all our taxes taken in, how it's appropriated, where it's sent to or spent, and be accountable for every penny of my/our money, it should be public knowledge and the budgets should be posted in libraries, newspapers, etc. I think we all should have the right to see exactly where our money goes.

Do anti-abortion zealots REALLY think they can NAG abortion away?

There is always a lot of anti-abortion propagandizing here by some frantic people. They seem to think if they can continually nag on the issue, abortion will go away. What in the world is their rationale for thinking this? Women who find themselves pregnant and really, really don't want to be have always sought abortion, or even self-aborted, and always will, whether it's legal or not. Nagging doesn't get people to quit smoking or go on a diet and it won;t stop abortion. Why not find something useful to do, like feed the hungry?

Does my family member have the right to sue?

I used to live with a family for a few years until six months ago I left home b/c they became hard to live with. Since then I haven't contacted them or gave them my address. I now hear that they want me to pay them $300 for supposed cleaning charges,( I apparently left my old room a mess and managed to rack up $300 in cleaning charges!) They mentioned they would take me to court if nessecary, but they don't have actual pictures of my "mess". They also have my old mail and are refusing to send it to me. Does this person have an actual case to sue me with? Also, isn't with holding mail, illegal?

I live in mobile home park. The neighbor across the street parks blocking my ingress and egress from driveway

I have a long driveway with an exit at the other end; however, I prefer to back out of my driveway as I am exiting to leave in the other direction. The neighbor blocks that access and says "you can just go out the other way". His guests block my driveway.

Visitation question - 2nd time added detail?

I have been seperated for 4 years now. We had a "Mediation Agreement" last Oct (2005). When his lawyer drew up the divorce papers she added several things so I didn't sign them. Nothing has been done since then. Since it's been over a year for the mediation and nothing has been done is there any legal document requiring me to allow visitation?
He doesn't pay support regularly and is stalling this divorce so I want to cut off visits in an attempt to get reg support and the divorce finalized.

Additional Details

I do realize that the kids deserve to see their Dad However they also deserve to receive support payments. I strongly believe child support is just that "child support". It's winter time - the kids need winter clothes, new shoes, etc. I always use the support I get on the kids only. Not trying to be selfish here. I am a stay-at-home mom of 4 and going back to school full-time in Jan. He HAS the money - he just doesn't WANT to pay.
