It can stay a month or longer if you are a constant user. If yourefrain for some time in between it will be less. There are also factors such as body fat, and how much water you drink on a day to day basis. The amount does make a difference, as thc is stored in body fat.

The intoxicating chemical, THC, is broken down by the human metabolism after two or three hours in the body. The by-products of this chemical breakdown are referred to as metabolites. These metabolites are fat soluble, and take 21-30 days to leave the human body via the urine. The more you smoke the more needs to be broken down. Since everyone is different the time it takes to get out of your system depends on your metabolism.
