Can someone please tell me what Prison is really like??
From people who have been there or people who have family that have gone there. What goes on from the time you wake up until the time you go to bed?
Is it best when your family sends you money? If so how much will last you 30 days? What all can prisoners do with money they receive?
Do they really get beat up like on the movies? Or only if they pick fights?
Please serious answers only, I just found out that a family member of mine is in prison.

If a US presidental candidate was to be elected President, but before he was sworn in, he resigned, would the elected Vice Presidental candidate become President? Since there is a delay between the election and the inauguration in January, this scenario could possibly happen.

The way I see it, Iraq is an unachievable goal that should have never been embarked upon.
So unfortunate for America, who had the perfect C Student with the perfect unachievable goal to reach for his otherwise unimpressive resume, we are still entrenched there with no way out.

Now that Democrats are in power though I see very few options for victory there yet a very small number of options:

#1 CUT AND RUN.
I see nothing wrong with cutting and running. The Iraqi's are uncivilized barbarians who only made it this far because of Saddam Hussein's scrutiny over them (torture and murder of them). The disenfranchised sects in Iraq are going to uprsie first chance they get - especially when Saddam is executed and its going to mean the deaths of more US Troops which I am totally against.
I'm fine with cutting and running - Let the Iraqis fight it out amongst themselves.

I'm afraid the Democrats will pull us out of Iraq and that country will fall back into Al Queda and Tryant hands. The people supporting democracy will all be killed and Iraq will be worse off than it was under Saddam Hussein. Will spending go through the roof? Will taxes go through the roof?

now, that there are more dem's in congress and they have ben bemoaning the deficit what programs are they going to cut?
it's a given they will attempt to raise taxes and eliminate a lot of other tax breaks.those measures won't do a lot without holding spending down.
remember congress approves the budget.
