George still has two years, we will see some stupid things come down the pipe but we still have the "VETO".

Don't believe there's any reason to panic or run around with our hair on fire. Believe it or not, BOTH parties have very intelligent and talented people and I am sure that the Dems are working up a plan of some sort to deal with what they see as issues to be handled. Nothing too out of the ordinary is going to happen. Word to the wise...keep a closer watch on your personal freedoms that you have been. We all lost a bunch and there is more to follow no matter which party is in control. Just a word....
Freedom comes from the lack of restrictions, not from the imposition of more and more restrictions whether it be on your ability to earn a living, speak or simply enjoy your life. And this is what every individual has to have to realize his potential. And those who would impose their restrictions on others whether they be criminals or politicians will always need to be limited in what they can do or else their freedom to impose will smother other’s freedom to survive. A perfectly policed welfare state will have no recipients or benefactors, only the thugs obeying blindly the whims of the panicked leadership unable to defend their weakened nation from the hordes of barbarians intent on the only thing they know...conquest. And someday in the future after the years of misery and want derived form seeking a welfare state, there may arise a wondering soul that stands before the mob and says, “There must be a better way.” And from that beginning will return a society to replace the one that ignored the idea they could ever experience a loss of freedom. Sinclair Lewis wrote a book about the U.S. turning into a dictatorship entitled , “ It Can’t Happen Here”. As you review what you cannot do that you could do in the not too distant past, you realize that it is happening.

"The Democrats will pull us out of Iraq and that country will fall back into Al Queda" that would have to mean that al queda was there before we invaded...but the democrats and republicans are the same useless thing. the only diference is who bought the repubulican and who bought the democrat. Senators and Congress should not be for sale. America is Broken. We need campaign finance reform so our elected officials work for the people, and not special interest groups!

After they get installed you can bet that Bush & Channey will not be seen together.
Will the economy tank? Will they offer more entitlements? Can't you just see it when the reality of the dwindling fossil fuels collides with the baby-boomers' retirement bill? The pitchers of Renewable Energy have yet to address the economics of the require infrastructure.
Remember the reason the Clinton economy was good was 2 fold. 1) .com happened on his watch. 2) Because of the build up in the military under Reagon, Clinton could down size it. If it wasn't for the Republicans he would have created more entitlements & wrecked the economy.
Obviously he did nothing to create items 1 & 2.

Nothing can POSSIBLY be worse than now. Spending IS through the roof on the Dictator Dumbya Big Lie Iraqi Crusade with NOTHING to show for it but flag draped coffins that Dumbya still carefully hides from the press. So if the spending is now on the credit card, you can pay it now or later when a bag of currency will buy the same weight in a daily newspaper. Then there is the matter of WHO pays it... the middle class as now or do the super rich ALSO have to pull their weight. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

Al Qaida had nothing to do with Iraq until your country brought them there.
No matter what happens in the future in Iraq, it's their country and they have a right to make their own choices.
Get out before you do any more damage. Every day you're there, more innocent people get killed. It could hardly get worse.

I seen Bush speak today on FOX. I wish there was someway he could be made to stay in for another term and clean up his mess. He's right, we can't do anything but stay.
After we caught Osama and Sadam we should have pulled out and built up our defenses. I wish he'd appologise for making such a blood bath.

We will all be much better off.
There are 3 Americans being killed in Irag every day. Ninety to 100 Americans every month.
Do you think we should let the killing go on when the situation is becoming worse.
Do you think if someone came into our country with military weapons and told us what to do we would sit back and be compliant.
Democrats control spending, they balance the budget...look at Clinton.
Democrats remember are "for the people".

i don't think that they can do anything as drastic as pulling us out of iraq, but let's all hold our breath as we watch the economy slowly crumble as they tax the crap out of us and hand it to the leaches of society in the form of welfare checks.
