The Democrats, prior to Reagan and all the monsters he spawned, were always the party of National Defense. That is, when conflict is unavoidable. Democrats are reasonable. We don't shoot off our mouths like street punks and invade other countries in wars of aggression or thinly disguised coups for more oil. What the Republicans have done in the past 6 years, has set this nation back 20 years, but after we clean up their mess, yes, we'll be a lot safer.

Really I don't think it will be either way. There is no way to correct the past. When the children of Iraq and Afghanastan grow up, there will be some serious problems. Hopefully they won't be extremists but I don't think they will like the US too much.
Really 9/11 could have happened during clinton, reagen or even today. Lets hope it doesn't. But there are not as much differences between the parties as they let you believe.

Well when the democrats reduce troops in Iraq and reduce money to Homeland security it will be interesting to see what the democrats do when suicide bombers start blowing themselves up in US streets.
I wanna know other than cut and run in Iraq what the democrats' plan is? They wanna cut military within our boarders and they seem to vote against doing something about the Mexican boarder. The us is in trouble.
