counterfeit. I put these checks into my bank account and come to find out a few days later that these checks were counterfeit. These people have contacted me several times since then stating that they would wire the money into my bank account and to date, have not done so. I have emailed them numerous times. Who do I contact to get my money back and make my bank account in the plus again? If you assume that Kerry wasn't talking about Bush in his comment
isn't there some truth to Kerry's comment at face value. If you asked most parents whether they would want there kids to go to Harvard or the Army the answer is going to be Harvard. Of course it doesn't mean a person is stupid if he/she is in the military but in reality it is often the best available option they have. Anyone who has spent time as an enlisted member of the service should realize that a portion the service members are not academic types. That the military was their way out and they had limited success in high school. I'm not talking in absolues but a large %. This is more like reaction to a truth people don't want to admit. If you are shining academic star chances are the military is not the best option.
In Micheal Moore's movie the same congressmen who would never dream of letting their children join the military are the ones trying to blow out of proportion Kerry's comments.

I think if he were to resign and apologize, it would send a message to the insurgents in Iraq that the USA is united in this fight, and people like Kerry will be asked to get out of the way so that we can do our jobs. The insurgents are feeding on our divisions, and they love it.

I see the news media making a big deal about a botched joke that Sen. Kerry made. . .at this point, how can anyone truly consider the news media left from center???? And even worse, how is it that the Republican leadership can actually make such a big deal about this vocal error when Bush is responsible for over 2800 American deaths caused by a War he instigated by misleading the public and then not having a viable plan of action to win?

Remember the "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED", where is the apology for that? People can't be that dumb, yet the news media is reporting that this may hurt the Dems at the polls. . .are you kidding me? How stupid to even say such a thing. Unless of course we have people in this country that are really that easily influenced by rhetoric. If so, God help our souls!!!
