I think if he were to resign and apologize, it would send a message to the insurgents in Iraq that the USA is united in this fight, and people like Kerry will be asked to get out of the way so that we can do our jobs. The insurgents are feeding on our divisions, and they love it.

well spoken, perfect american. i agree with you completely and have been saying he and his friend, ted the swimmer kennedy should both resign immediately. it befuddles the mind that those two get voted in year after year....
