I am so with you. I'm in Fl, and the big race is for Governor Race. Jim Davis-D v. Charlie Christ-R

Charlie Christ is running an add super negative saying that Davis has a really low attendance record in Congress.

In the ad, an empty chair runs back and forth on the screen and across the street in front of the capital, and then it shows a family on vacation in D.C. from FL, "looking for their congressman" , "where is he?" and then the empty chair comes flying in front of them.
It is absolutely hysterical. Every time my 10 year old daughter sees it, she just cracks up laughing.

******Note: I did my research on Davis, and the funniest thing is, that Davis has a 93% attendance record in Congress, which is really strong. His abscences were just of late, when he started running for Governor. Prior to his campaign, his attendance was up to 96%. I laugh at the commercial, but will still vote for him because I can look past the ads. I wish more people would research instead of believe what they see on these ads.

It is quite sad actually.

The candidates are too busy bashing and slandering their opponents to actually say how they stand on issues and we as the public now are expected to choose between the lesser of the two evils based on nothing but how this other guy is just a horrible person.

I see nothing funny about them. The negative ones insult the intelligence of the people they want votes from, so what they're really doing is defeating their purpose. I can't wait until the election is over, just so I don't have to listen to the bellyaching and back stabbing.

Pretty annoying. Why can't the candidates tell me what they would do in office instead of why I shouldn't vote for the other guy. Its gotten really bad here in Tennessee.

Worst part about it is neither candidate has changed my mind, just made me more annoyed.

I do too! The negative campaigning has reached a new level. I just hope people will focus on the issues when they vote, though.
