Sadly, I had to go a few years without cable TV, and so I didn't watch the news much, and I never really read the newspaper, so I don't get what all this talk about Bush is. Can someone please explain to me what is going on?

Most importantly,
There is an election on Nov. 7......Vote Democrat, and help our country towards a balance of power, and hopefully less bickering and more problem solving.

There's not enough room to tell you all about it. I suggest you start reading the newspapers, or if you have a computer, which you probably do or you wouldn't be in this forum, click on any of the news websites. They will give you a wealth of unbiased information on politics and world events. You'll just get a lot of prejudicial info on here, and end up more clueless than ever. .

Go to the library & go through a scattered selection of old news magazines. Time, Newsweek, and US News & World Report make a fairly balanced review possible. Or just start reading and watching again. Doesn't take long to catch up.

Becca, you obviously have a computer and you can read. So start researching on-line and pick up the newspapers as often as you can and get in touch.... In this day and age these things are important to know.

You don't need cable to stay in the loop. You can get local television. You also apparently have internet access. Go to Yahoo News.

That's easy. Imagine a Chimpanzee running the country - well, that would be an improvement over the presidency of George W. Bush.

If you didn't have cable TV for a few years, you're ahead of everybody else.

I think the only way to learn what is going on is by your self, saddly on this site it will be pushed on way or another on what Bush has been doing. I would suggest CNN's website.

Even so...for you to not know what's going on, you must have been trapped in a box too!
