His apology was bogus so maybe he just should have kept his mouth shut and not made that so called apology.

Here is his quote below-
"As a combat veteran, I want to make it clear to anyone in uniform and to their loved ones: my poorly stated joke at a rally was not about, and never intended to refer to any troop"

Kerry said he regrets that his words "were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform, and I personally apologize to any service member, family member, or American who was offended."

Well wether it was a joke or not it was wrong to say. But he didnt even really apologize. Just apologize and say what you said was wrong. Why couldnt he admit what he said was wrong? And he says he apologies to anyone who was offended?! Anyone American should have been offended.
John Kerry is a moron. This is the same guy who said last year while in a foreign country, that our troops are terrorizing women and children in Iraq and he made a scene after vietnam

I read in an article "the US court of appeals", but apparently there is more than one, so I got confused.
my question is, in each of the courts of appeals, are the rulings precidents?

Like, if the third circuit ruled that something is unconstitutional, does that mean that it applies to all circuits unless they take it to a higher court?
the reason I ask is, a peer of mine got in trouble for not standing for the pledge, for his personal political beliefs.
I read that in New York, the court of appeals there ruled that that is not allowed. Does that mean it applies in Pennsylvania, too?

Sorry if my question is confusing, I didn't really know how to word it. I don't know much about the different types of courts, and how much power and jurisdiction each has.

My parents have been having sort of a land fued with their neighbor over the past three years. Now she has gone insane and resources say she has a split personality. She already has made threatening remarks and the police have told my parents that they cannot do anything until the woman is caught doing something illegal. My question is what kind of action can my parents take at this point to protect themselves?

Just curious, I was wondering if it was just an old saying or something factual, I don''t recall seeing it on Myth Busters.

If an American decided to leave the United States, how would they be treated in another country, particularly Eastern Europe and Asia?

There was a time when poor farmers ran this country and did just fine. The people had a say in what happened. Now we are at the mercy of the rich. Our goverment has changed the basic idea of democracy into a mess. We the people have not a voice. What can the common people do to be heard. Don't say vote. Thats a cop-out.
I am pro america and I love my country. I just wish the power would be returned to the people.

I am going in December to take a written, physical and polygraph test to be a police officer in my city. I was wondering how hard the tests are. Also, what kind of questions do they ask on the polygraph test? I am nervous because I have done bad stuff in my past but I haven't ever got caught.

"The Constitution is just a piece of paper" - G.W. Bush. September 30, 2006

I'm curious. Did Bush actually say this, and if so where? And if Bush said this, how would you compare it to what Kerry said recently regarding getting stuck in Iraq?

Holidays are coming and there are soldiers that would like to have mail that otherwise don't get it. Even a letter makes them smile which is important. Check out www.anysoldier.com and start your today. Or does anybody already know of somebody in need? My kids are doing their Christmas boxes & want to send them homemade cookies but I only let them send them to ones we personally know or through a friend relationship.
