Captain Coward John Kerry was "dissing" the troops and he "dissed" every veteran he ever served with!!!!!! I can read where the illiterati of the left are poo-pooing this as a minor deal. This further indemnifies that the left and liberals hold no regard for the military and view them as the most disposable members of society. Clinton did it in '93 when he killed a number of troops in Mogadishu through his ignorance and arrogance; any left wing leader elected in the future will do the same.
Safe to say the intelligence of the left was clearly demonstrated as more wanting than a dying man of water in the desert was when Joe Lieberman was voted out in his primary. How truly ignomious to send the brightest member of your party packing only to have him re-emerge as an independent and kick your butt like a 6th grade bully on a bus load of third graders.
Democrats you had best get your feces in one bucket or it is over. Even the old "Yellow Dog" Senior Citizen Democrats are hacked off at you. And when you make AARP angry you loose a lot of votes.

John Kerry meant what he said - only when the backlash threatened his ambitions and his party's agendas did he even begin to try and spin it.
His positions on the military are well known - all the way back to the Congressional Hearings in 1967.
How ironic that he would now say his comments were directed at Bush. Only the stupids end up in Iraq - I wonder how he explains how his butt ended up in Viet Nam.
Bush got higher grades at Yale than he did - if that makes Bush stupid - what the hell does it say about Kerry?

Kerry has been dissing the troops since he testified before the Senate. He lied then and he is lying now.
I voted against Kerry in 2004 and am relieved he swiftboated himself and removed any last chances of seeing him as a candidate in 2008.
Kerry has hated the military since his 3 month tour of duty. Everything after that has been anti-military, every speech, every vote, every time.

don't believe he was dissing the troops for one minute
I don't even like him but it was clear to me that he was talking about Bush and his war strategy. the republicans just want to make an issue of it and it shows how desperate they are to cast a shadow on the otherside. it is a feeble attempt to make Kerry look unamerican

I am sure it was slip of the tongue, but I dislike him so much already it wouldn't matter what he says. I can not form a unbias opinion about some people based on the fact that I loath them entirely.

I think it was just another example of a politician not thinking too clearly in front of a microphone. It does not change the problems we face today in domestic and foreign policy. It was a stupid comment, not a policy decision that is affecting us.

Give it up.. A CNN survey revealed that this will have no impact on Tuesday's elections. People made up their minds long ago, and the determining factor is the war in Iraq, and the economy.
