I have been gone for a year now... I never left the army because I did not like it.. I had and still have a gambling problem that led me to a complete and total destructive path... Right after basic training I won 27000 online poker and soon afterwards lost that and all of my money and even more... I never made it to my first unit due to this freaking problem... I hate having it it has cost me two vehicles flaws on my credit relationships stress that I wish upon noone...Thankgod that I am doing better and seeking help such as GA and I have great and fantastic friends and family... If anyone has ever had a gambling problem they know what I am talking about... But seriously how can I either get back in the army and finish my comittment or get ouf of the Army??

I asked for this earlier, but I only got pro/anti Clinton and pro/anti Moore rants.

Michael Moore wrote a list, in one of his books, of things that Clinton did that were more Republican then Democratic. The name of the chapter it was in was called "Why Clinton was the Best republican President of the 20th Century." He argued that Clinton actually did more republican ideology then democratic. does anyone know where i can find this list online?

PLEASE only answer this if you are telling me were to find this list. don't start a anti or pro clinton rant.

Also, the new law should say that your IQ needs to be at least 120. This way, each vote is guaranteed to have been the product of deep genuin thought.

I have come up with a pausible solution that may be supported by many Americans. Here it is: Extend our borders to Panama, make Mexico a Territory of the United States, like we did with Puerto Rico and other providences. We already inadvertently have billions of American earned dollars floating their economy. We will increase economic trade, help with environmental problems, increase agriculture, education and viable space, not to mention the use of resources found south of our border. This also decreases the area of border between countries to patrol.

Cheney's comments on a radio show seem to lead to the conclusion that he regards waterboarding as a legitimate interrogation technique. Tony Snow denies this. Is Cheney snagged as a torture advocate or was he just refering to one of those "dunk-tanks" where you throw baseballs at a target at the county fair?

As a Guardsman, I feel we are pretty stretched thin. I'm looking at my second deployment in the next twelve months and I've only been in a little over three years. Thats a deployment every other year. I really have no desire to spend my little time in the states guarding the border, which I am neither trained nor qualified to do in my current MOS, or just about any other MOS I am legally allowed to train in since I am a female (yet I've still been asked to volunteer several times).
Why, when we are obviously willing to train any Guardsman to do this job, dont we train civilians to do it? With the unemployment rates like they are, it shouldnt be hard to find people for the job. And with the Guard stretched so thin right now, what with the fighting two wars right now with record low enlistment and retention rates thing, why are we giving them yet another job to do?
If they send me down there, I'm letting the Mexicans in.
