If they can prove that it is true, I don't believe you can take action. I saw something similar to this on one of the Court TV shows.

Yes! I'm pretty sure you can classify that as "deprivation of character" and I'm SURE I just spelled that wrong but it's your only correct answer...jk, but I think it is.
