Three boys, my son age 12 and 2 10 year olds were fooling around on the bus the other day, along with some kids behind them. One kid kept having his hat pulled off his head. My son got out of his seat to let this kid find it. With that the bus driver stopped the bus, went back there yelled at my son and another kid and yanked another kid by the hair. The mom reported it to the school and so did I. Apparently the video doesn't show a "clear picture" of what took place, so they have called several children to the office and, to my knowledge, they have all corroborated what happened.

Now, 3 days later, the same driver is on the bus and has even used intimidation tactics by letting 2 of the boys know that he was "aware of someone's parent calling his supervisor to get him in trouble".

What do you make of this? This woman, because of the lack of action on the school's part, now wants to get the police involved.
Is this serious enough to involve the authorities?

It is my understanding, per my local SBA, that you cannot have an individual (i.e. a non-company individual) be an independent contractor. To the contrary, that an independent contractor must be a company. However, I'm now hearing from alternate sources that an individual can be an independent contractor. So who's right?

It seems that there has to be a legal way to create an agreement between a company (sole proprietorship) and an individual that treats that individual the same as a contractor - i.e. the company and the individual agree that the company is not held liable in any manner (unemployment, taxes, insurance, etc.) and that the individual assumes full liability. Does anyone know a simple way of doing this?

Is there any place on the web where I can find an example of a contract for an individual independent contractor?

And most importantly: Will I be responsible for taxes, insurances or expenses if I have independent contractors; what would they be? FYI, I'm in TX.

When Star Wars Epidose 1 was released, why did a lot of blacks get offended by Jar Jar Binks. Was it because they saw themselves as uneducated, illiterate goof offs? If you compare your life to a CGI creature who is dumb as a rock, then you yourself are too. What were they doing trying to file lawsuits anyway, more free handouts?

It seems that there is alot of mudslinging in these political campaigns, and I can't seem to get any information without a democrat/republican/liberal/conservative bias!

Is there a site that just gives the facts? For example, what bills each senatorial or congressional candidate voted on? What their basic principles are?

Please, no smart*ss or agenda-based answers, please.

people who practice drinking on an occasional basis are for the most part ok .Like people who follow Mahommid are for the most part ok .IT's those people who really enjoy drinking and get something out of it most other people can not see that is like a terrorist who drinks in to much religion .
This being the case how can any government defeat terrorism .
We tried banning alcohol once and it failed .Like we tried in korea vietnam and for years after that played around in the middle east helping one country battle another .
If you think you can defeat terrorists tell me how but think hard and see if it will work .

I believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy. I think that our government was responsible for it. The reason? We wanted Iraq's oil. Look at Pearl Harbor. We knew about that, but yet we let it happened. Why? Because we wanted to try out the nuke on somebody, to see what it could do. I am not trying to be insensitive towards the people who lost their lives saving others, because I do believe that they are true heroes. With the World Trade Centers, steel melts at 2800˚. Iron melts at 2795˚. Jet fuel burns at 1517˚. How did the towers fall? Bombs. Watch the videos, and notice how all of the windows blow out, all the way around the building, just as the airplane hits it. Then watch a video of a building scheduled for demolition being brought down with bombs. You get the same thing in both videos. Your opinions?

The Congress appeared to have cleared a set of laws for the President to sign before they adjourned in September. There's a suggestion he's pulling a pocket veto, but they seem to have found a loophole in procedure. Article 1 of the Constitution governs Congressional procedure, if that helps. Also, the same thing happened to the Military Commissions Act: passed end of September, signed last week.

I read an article from yesterdays news, it seems that for the past 200 years South African blacks have not learned anything. To this day their healers will tell people if they want to be cured of AIDS, they must have sex with a virgin. This leads to gang rapes and rapes of children as young as 1 year old. Is that the Rich African Culture that blacks in America want to reconnect to?

Child tax credits are administered by the Inland Revenue, so why do we constantly get inundated with paperwork asking us to confirm last year's income...when they ALREADY KNOW! All they really need to know surely is if your family income changes unexpectedly (up or down).

I suppose for some countries (Afghanistan, Iraq) it's irrelevant, but what about U.S. bases in Germany or South Korea. Do U.S. soldiers enter those countries via immigration (as a business traveller would), or just sort of land.

And returning home ... even Bill Gates and Warren Buffet must be approved by a lowly immigration clerk when they fly into the U.S.

But are soldiers outside of that process?
