When Star Wars Epidose 1 was released, why did a lot of blacks get offended by Jar Jar Binks. Was it because they saw themselves as uneducated, illiterate goof offs? If you compare your life to a CGI creature who is dumb as a rock, then you yourself are too. What were they doing trying to file lawsuits anyway, more free handouts?

In today's society, one must be extremely careful not to offend anyone.
This trend is getting completely out of hand.
Political correctness, however well intentioned at the onset, has grown tentacles and invaded every facet of society. Some people now get "offended" if you wish them a Merry Christmas.
I'm sorry, but hard as I try, I cannot be everything to everyone - and if I offend you.....well, that's just too bad.
Get over it and direct your time and effects to really important issues and stop your whining.
And to all rational and sensible people who don't have the superficial need to delve into why we celebrate a witch craft promoting Pagan holiday - have a Happy Halloween.

It was a case of racial stereotyping, Jar Jar Binks, ended many words with "suh", like stereotypical portrayal of Blacks often do.
