We did what we did after ww2 ended for every nation not just Israel .In other nations a strong Jewish movement and political pressure was not like we have in america .
Jews fled Europe in great Numbers and came to America .That they represent such a small number of our population is the nature of Jewish people .Like it is The Amish who's numbers remain small even though they settled many years ago .
WHo should help Israel I think is what you are wondering and I say nobody .If they can not make a go of things in Israel to support the people then tough luck .
America has been helping people out all over the world for 50 years and look at how we are treated .
We did not like the Russians but we sold them grain to feed cattle and wheat for making bread when Russia faced problems .We have helped Mexico and all the south american and central american country's .
I will bet that not one nation can not claim to be free from some kind of aid and food that america supplied for free at one time or another .
What do we get in return .
I say the rest of the world can sink or swim without us .
