Is it a good Democracy? The point is in the US and GB, Senators and MPs have a job for life. Its only the President that really changes. And a few "maginal" seats to keep the illusion. We can trace some of our current leaders back to 1948. Most Senators are in their 80s. The idea that the leaders of the free world are stuck with old men and policies stuck in the fifties grate.

There are no new ideas coming through. Its a policy of repression, supression and WAR WAR. Some attained power at the same time as Fidel Castro and are still here. Is this the Great Democracy? A job for life and moving the members from safe maginal to safe seat as they go.

Pay and EXPENSES! Would we not be off better if we had a dictator? Its the same thing really. GB MPs do not really go anywhere till they can no longer go to the Bank. Thank God for Internet Banking?

I understand that doing dropping these two bombs ended WWII however I wanted to know in layman’s terms why the US dropped these bombs. I have heard that the second one was dropped because Japan did not believe that only one bomb could do that kind of damage, but could someone with a passion for history explain why this happened.

I would like to (and I know you don't exactly make demands with the military) only serve two or maybe three years. I have a friend at school who is enlisting and he says for six years requirement. I'm interested in serving and the like, but for me six years is way too long. Outside of the reserve, are there any options in which I can do a 2 or 3 year tour?

The latest usage is the opinion that the Army Gen. Richard Dannatt's remarks about the viabiity of continuing the use of UK troops in Iraq is "unconstitutional" - according to David Blunkett.

Setting aside the pros and cons of being in Iraq in the first place, where is the "constitution" to which Mr. Blunkett refers?

You better understand it.
You 're NOT White!
Whites are: Caucasian Muslims, Aryans like Iranians, White Latinos like President Fox, and Nazis like those that you hate.

Im aware its a corrupt country, i just wondered how it worked. How can they claim to be communist if they are paying people different wages and some people are leading much richer lives than others.

Im fully aware that in communist countrys you always get the super rich and the super poor, so if you could also explain to me how that works too that would be great.

My grandfather moved from England in the 60's, and my mother (a US citizen) had me in 1981 in New Orleans, so I am a US citizen. I heard somewhere if you grandparents are from another country, and your mother had you when she was not married you can automatically have citizenship to that country. Is this true?

lots of people say that nasa is a waste of tax payer money but i dont think they understand all that nasa has given us. a quick random list: GPS's, velcro, anything that uses satellites (tv broadcasts, xm radio, the internet), and who will we all come running to when a comet is discovered on a collission course with earth? thats right, nasa.

lots of people trash bush for wanting to put a man on the moon and on mars but there are deposits of minerals and metals in these places that are worth billions.

nasa is clearly an intelligent and profitable investment so why do we have so many foolish people demanding that we cut their budget?

In abortion you kill the fetus but what do they do in stem cell research - do they kill a fetus to.
Roman Catholics believe that abortion is totally wrong, but that stopping the sperm before fertilisation is considered right.
So anyway, what happens to the sperm in stem cell research and does stem cell research need sperm only or does it need it to be grown into a fetus?
