Im aware its a corrupt country, i just wondered how it worked. How can they claim to be communist if they are paying people different wages and some people are leading much richer lives than others.

Im fully aware that in communist countrys you always get the super rich and the super poor, so if you could also explain to me how that works too that would be great.

It is because most of our (UK) manufacturing is now in China and the working class Chinaman has flocked to the manufacturing centres set up by western companies, so they now command a higher salary than the 'traditional' farming working classes.

Some of them are promoted supervisors, middle managers etc. Although they are still quite poorly paid, they are considered 'middle class' by virtue of the standard of living is far higher than the traditional jobs in farming.

Due to the enormous amount of people in China, it would be very difficult to keep the country under full communist rule. Communism has now failed in China but the people who feel they want change in the country have no amount of resources to overthrow the communist rule. The current owner of Yahoo!China is extremely rich, but he would not have so much money is the country was fully under the control of Communism.

China is no longer a Communist state in the truest sense of the word.

It remains a totalitarian state, with no multi-party democracy, no free-media, no freedom of expression, religion or speech. It still has a largely centrally-planned economy, all of which are broadly Communist.

However the Chinese government recognised that to stay in power it must keep its people "content", and people who have money are generally "content", and therefore it allowed a degree of economic freedom in specially-designated Economic Zones, where a broadly-Capitalist system operates within the strictures of the Communist-style central control.

China has extra area to strengthen than the U. S., so which you may assume its growth fee to be bigger. China GDP in line with capita is barely $3,744 u . s . a . GDP in line with capita is $40 six,436 China is not any longer a real communist u . s . a .. It became under the guideline of Chairman Mao from the Forties to the early 70s however the recent management then reformed the economy. you may describe its device recently as a mix of state capitalism and loose capitalism. that's particularly diverse from a loose capitalism device like the U. S., because of the fact the chinese language government runs many great companies, like the chinese language mining organization which owns mines all international extensive.

China is run by a communist party but they are a socialist country and work to maintain a growing economy. There are private buisnesses in China, wich result in middle class and upper class.

China tried things, when they succeede they call them socialism, when they fail they call them capitolism, regaurdless of the technical realities. Communism isnt about what you would think it is, when talking about modern China.

I believe that the country still works on a class system as well. If you're poor you stay poor and the same up and down the board!

They do have privately owned businesses, but the government controls contracts and industry and stuff... Most of china is immensely poor, but the middle 80% is still called the "middle class"
