Is it a good Democracy? The point is in the US and GB, Senators and MPs have a job for life. Its only the President that really changes. And a few "maginal" seats to keep the illusion. We can trace some of our current leaders back to 1948. Most Senators are in their 80s. The idea that the leaders of the free world are stuck with old men and policies stuck in the fifties grate.
There are no new ideas coming through. Its a policy of repression, supression and WAR WAR. Some attained power at the same time as Fidel Castro and are still here. Is this the Great Democracy? A job for life and moving the members from safe maginal to safe seat as they go.
Pay and EXPENSES! Would we not be off better if we had a dictator? Its the same thing really. GB MPs do not really go anywhere till they can no longer go to the Bank. Thank God for Internet Banking?
