The Government says racism should be stamped out but they breed it by changing wording like "winter lights" instead of Christmas lights. Some schools have stopped doing the nativity. So who are the racists?

"LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Rescue workers freed seven illegal immigrants who became trapped after attempting to enter the United States from Mexico via a flooded storm drain, US media reported.

CNN and local television in Otay Mesa, near San Diego in southern California, reported that the immigrants were freed after becoming stuck in the drain.

Earlier, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Lauren Mack, said border patrol units had been alerted after hearing yelling from the trapped immigrants."

You do understand about storm drains? How they fill with water without warning?

You can't depend on weather reports when a college car wash can have the same impact.

I have seen a lot in the polictical questions, in the immigration catagory the statement made "You are an immigrant unless you are Native American in the United States of America" I'm curious what have you learned about our history to make you think that statement is accurate.
This is not a debate about whether it's an accurate statement or not. I know it's not accurate and I know why, I'm curious as to the people making the statement or agreeing with the statement, what have they learned about the United States of America's history to think it is accurate. I'm not judging anybody by what they say, I'm just curious about what you learned about the subject.

we would never consider asking jewish men to remove their skull caps nor force christians to remove crucifixes. so why is it ok to ask Muslim women to remove their veils? What right do we have to force our cultural bises on others? How can Britain call itself a multicultural society if we force other cultures to comply with what we believe to be "normal"?

What is up with male/female equality! So women want to be equal to men right? If they want to be equal to us they expect us to treat them better than we treat our fellow men! I think that they really want to be better than us, be pamprered and not have to work like us to get our pay for example. What are your feelings on this matter? If you want to be equal with us you will get the same treatment, not better or worse but the same; and you will have to live with it. Please give me your feelings on this matter

I'm a pit bull advocate and wondered if anybody in Canada suffered from this law? And what happened if you did have a pit bull. I don't think a government has a right to decide that you can't have a specific breed on dogs. Anybody know?
