I agree. They have WMDs and are a rogue nation.......who else has that?

Its funny how differently people are reacting to N. Korea than Iraq

Iraq = They might have WMDs so we have to go

NK = We still aren't sure if they have WMDs, lets wait

Iraq = Shock and Awe

NK = Diplomacy

We get all antsy just thinking about Iran getting a nuke in 5 - 10 years but we could care less about NK having one.......something is not right here.

Disagree - North Korea does not have a Navy which could launch or support an invasion of US Territory. Korth Korea does not have an Air Force which could do so either... Their Navy can NOT effectively threaten our Sea Lanes of Communication (SLOC) therefore can't threaten us ecomomically.

North Korea does have at least 5 nuclear weapons (former SecState James Baker, 09 Oct 06, "The Daily Show")... we don't know their power or ability to be delivered... and as best as the public has been told they don't have a delivery system that will reach the Continental US.

And no matter how NUTS Kim Jong Il may seem, he has to KNOW that a nuc lobbed at us or an ally would turn his country into a glowing slag-heap.

IRAN poses a threat... they have the capability to strangle our access to the oil supplies of the Gulf Region without resorting to a nuclear weapon... THAT would be a grave threat to our economy and therefore our way of life. CNN did an interesting special on this about a year or so ago...

North Korea is run by an insane man, truly insane. They are just another threat, not necessarily the biggest one.

Disagree.

come on people! You aren't disarming, they want to be taken seriously. China you give respect, they are doing stupendous things in the third world and they make themselves heard, and they're a nuclear nation. Unless you are going to throw out your own nukes expect other countries to think aobut them to get noticed. and a test is a good sign, rather than not testing and just strapping the things to a missile which could be a lot worse.

Disagree
The real threat is N Korea giving the technology to Iran, then Iran Blows Israel off the map (or visa versa). Then we will have WW III for real.

Disagree, we just chose not to deal with the problem, we keep trying to file sanctions against them with the U.N. but North Korea doesn't care about sanctions and all the more time for them to test more nuclear weapons. (We tried filing sanctions before and didn't do anything and now they have nuclear capability)

Totally. I''' say this again, the N. Koreans have been angry with the USA "since" the Korean war. No one can be angry "that" many years, and not "do" something destructive when they think the time is right. And though we won't just stand by, the destruction "because" of it will be permanant. They are helping to make the words of our Bible come true....sooner. Sad, but true.

All the countries are, I think we are one of the most hated.
But N.Korea has missles pointed at the major cities in america and the missle they fired landed off the coast of japan just so they could prove their missles can hit us,
With the nuclear wepons in Mt. Cheyenne in Colorado Springs, if one of those missles hit Denver, then We all would be fu**ed
