I think that it would be a very good idea for you and others like you to go and join one section of the Military and have taste of what they have to go through.
They do take the P**S out of themselves but then again they are allowed to because they have done it and seen it. So i tell you what if you do not want to try it out then find a coupe of squaddies and take the P**S to their faces. I can guarantee you would come off second best!!.

Isn't it time you grew up. Nice people do not extract the Michael from people who are doing their job, to the best of their ability - and are the finest soldiers in the world.
The Taliban and Sadam Hussein hate Arab people and the people of Afghanistan. The troops are there to put in a new infra-structure so that they can rule themselves and avoid despotic dictators of governments in the future.
