I am referring, of course, to children.

Luckily, after we pay to feed, clothe, educate, and take care of children for twenty or so years, they begin to pay off. It takes some time, but the investment is worth it.

And having children is good for our economy. They may take some jobs, but they also create jobs. Plus, where would programs like Social Security or Medicare be without a growing population?

So here's to those kids - may we always have more coming!

I just can't find any jobs that I like and I am tired of looking. I thought that if I received some grants, I could relax for about a year or two.

I know there is free money out there.

Why do illegal immigration supporters call people who are against illegal immigration racists? All that does is prove how ignorant you are. I am all for people wanting to come to America to better their lives as long as they do so within the confines of the law. My aunt came to this country legaly from Vietnam after her father and brothers were jailed and sent to re-education camps by the communists. She had to go through the process of becoming a citizen. Is it just her bad luck that tens of thousands did not come with her so she could just demand becoming a citizen? Border crackdowns are neccisary not only to stem the tide of immigration, but also to make sure those who enter the country are law abiding citizens not terrorists, and that goes for both sides of the border.

I bought an item on ebay from someone with good feedback. It arrived and the size was smaller than listed in description. Seller agreed to give me a refund and I returned item to her. 3 months later I still have no money. I paid with money order (my mistake) and I have sent many emails to which she always responds with a promise to pay me as she is "honest and not trying to steal". ebay can't do anything to make her pay. They suggested I try Square Trade and the Internet Crime Center.
Does anyone have any advice? She lives in Illinois and I live in Texas.

Are you aware of the details of our "agreements" with North Korea?
Do you know how they got the nuclear technology?
Have they been good citizens up to today?
Given an intimate knowledge of past negotiations and agreements, what would you do about this declared nuclear test?

It appears to me we have been talking at the negotiation table for about 20 years and it appears to have been all hot air, all talk, feel good rhetoric and no action.

I am looking for things like, the tax rate, cost of healthcare, cost of gas or immigration. Things that congress should be helping mitigate but in your case you do not see it. Please make these quantifiable, that is, things like impeach bush is not quantifiable and will not make your life better. We are experiencing the best economy ever, more people have purchased houses in the last five years than ever before, and could not have done this in a bad economy, yet I hear constantly about quantifiable things and I go look and the numbers do not support the beliefs I am hearing.

I am asking because I want to see if this is a perception, is it real or have you been influenced by propaganda, messages that reinforce your existing opinions, prejudices or attitudes.

Perhaps that is the first place to start, have you been influenced by propaganda?

The taxes pouring into the federal coffers has hit two consecutive high points in history, and that is adjusting for inflation. And this is after tax cuts. Unemployment has been at the lowest level since the 60's. The Dow is at the highest ever, the only time it was closer was when the Clinton SEC allowed the dot-com fraudsters to create companies whose mission statement was to pay back the initial investors (that's a form of MLM). The Labor Department reports salaries raising faster than anytime since the 80's. More jobs have been created in the period of 2000 to 2005 than from 1990 to 1999. The economy is doing very well. Cut taxes for the wealthy and they invest in the market making the economy stronger, creating more jobs, increasing salaries, and generating income that leads to more purchase power, which leads to taxes pouring in at highest rates in history.
Proving for the second time in 18 years that supply side economics works.
