Marines.

"...If the Army and the Navy
ever looked on heaven's scenes,
They will find the streets are guarded by
the United States Marines."

The Holy Trinity (God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit), George S. Patton, General MacArthur (unfortunately for me personally)and every man and woman who ever wore the uniform of the United States Military, Coast Guard or any civilian contracted with the military who worked in a hostile area.
The true heroes have passed us by, such as one of my uncles who survived the Bataan Death March, and one still living who was held captive of the Japanese after Corregidor fell in the Philipines. That's why I feel as I do about MacArthur.
I believe that the first person they would see would be the last one to lose their life before the troops arrived. They would be there to lead the way.

I know the saying is the Marines, but I believe it would be all their fallen brothers and sisters and St. Peter. Along side them would be some very grateful cheering people who are thankful for the freedoms and rights they had in life.

Even though I am in the Air Force and very devoted to my branch, I still have to say the Marines! Who else would you want protecting you?

Marine Corps, of course they'll have had to hitcha ride from one of their brother services to get there

Probably a D.O.D. civilian contractor. I'm in the Air Force, we hire civilians to protect our base. It's very sad.
