Scattered violence kills 15 in Iraq.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Fifteen people were killed in scattered violence around Iraq on Saturday, including eight who died when a suicide car bomber hit an Iraqi army checkpoint in the northern city of Tal Afar.

In Baghdad, where sectarian violence between Shiites and Sunni Arabs has been rising steadily, two bullet-riddled bodies were pulled from the Tigris river in the downtown Karrada neighborhood, said police Lt. Bilal Ali Majid. Both had their hands and legs bound and showed signs of torture — hallmarks of the sectarian death squads that roam the capital. The USA military can't get a hold on the killings. They (USA ) are worthless. The Iraqi people would like for the USA military to leave.

There needs to be a balance of power between nations, but america is abusing its power as being the world super power. Where ever she has bombed, she has left thousand, infact million people, devastated. Iraq, afghnistan, japan, vietnam are the recent examples.
Is Iran, pakistan and north korea next?
What do you think? what is the future?
It affects us in every way. Cause of the oil prices and other economic factors. Its just not war. Its in humanity.

This will be the nail in the coffin for the Neo-Cons, and it DESTROYS any hope they had of retaining their majority in the House of Representatives, and possibly even the Senate!! How in the name of common decency can members of the major political party of today defend a pathological sexual predator, and even HOPE TO MAINTAIN any kind of decorum??!! It's amazing to me how they can continue to lie about something as pathetically tragic as a "wag the dog" WAR in Iraq, yet it takes a sex scandal to show what hypocrites the Neo-Cons really are!!!

The new Iraqi government, and the occupying forces aren't stopping the killing. As good Muslims they have a right to follow their own path to "self-determination", theoretically so highly prized in the West. Catholics and Protestants sorted that out long ago, but Islam is a late starter. If the oil is so important to us (but apparently not to them) what if we heavily garrisoned the oil fields and left the party.

I was reading this article this morning, and saw this. It sounds like what the conservatives have been saying they want.

Few people seem to be able to correctly attach a political position to these terms, as evidenced by the two questions in my history asking what both terms mean. They've just become generic insults the right and left trade. Few liberals attacking neo-conservatives have read Strauss or Kristol or really seem to know much about neo-conservatism. Likewise the right attacking liberals seem to know or credit little about the history of liberalism, and seem oblivious to the fact that the majority of politicians left and right self-identified as liberals just a few decades ago. And the irony of course is that they're very similar positions - neo-conservatism is essentially liberalism and an acceptance of leftish ideas like welfare state on social issues, but with hawkish foreign policy. Both ideas are actually quite beautiful as political philosophies, but nobody seems to care about the idealogies. Has our bickering stripped these terms of meaning, and should we do away with them?
