No, way too much TV

Most killers are not high quality hitmen like on TV, the few that would be are merely criminals that get good or some military special forces that go into private wars

HItmen are usually people who work for others.
They usually grow up in gangs and such.
The Mafia had a lot of guys who by the age of 15 have killed.
It was one of their rights of passage.
You had to be willing to kill if asked.
