This will be the nail in the coffin for the Neo-Cons, and it DESTROYS any hope they had of retaining their majority in the House of Representatives, and possibly even the Senate!! How in the name of common decency can members of the major political party of today defend a pathological sexual predator, and even HOPE TO MAINTAIN any kind of decorum??!! It's amazing to me how they can continue to lie about something as pathetically tragic as a "wag the dog" WAR in Iraq, yet it takes a sex scandal to show what hypocrites the Neo-Cons really are!!!

Evil, when exposed, always blames someone, or something, else. This has been the way republicans deal with their scandals. So much for personal responsibility.

anybody in the international deals with not elementary topics. maximum of them do no longer bypass proposition a young person to manage it. In everywhere of commercial employer, a manager might want to be fired for propositioning a subordinate. It shows an lack of ability to habit organisation with professionalism. this should be no diverse for Congress. As for each of the hype, that's in simple terms because that's election time. some thing to smear the different party. even with the indisputable fact that, any responsible Congressperson (or individual) might want to easily admit that Foley made some irrelevant judgements as someone.

I`m a Brit and we have the same sort of thing happening here all the time..wouldn't you think by now perverts would realise that at some stage their shady pasts will come to light and damage their party...I think they are just selfish individuals who think they are above the law and will never be discovered..isn't it amazing how many sexual deviants and closet gays choose politics as a career?

What excuses are you talking about? The Republicans cut Foley loose on this.

The Democrats and the Air America style talking heads keep making this same claim but the fact is NOT A SINGLE Republican is defending the actions of Foley.

As opposed the Democrats who support the actions of their child molesters Stubbs and Franks, and even got a presidential pardon for Mel Reynolds. After Stubbs was censured for actually having sex with a child, as opposed to just sending emails, Nancy Pelosi voted 5 times for Stubbs to get a committee chairmanship.

The Republicans have demonstrated through their actions they expect Foley to take responsibility for his actions. The Democrats have proven through their actions that they are against Republican sickos, but they give their own Gerry Stubbs 3 standing ovations for rejecting his own censure for flying juveniles out of the country and having sex with them. The Democrats have no problem with actual sex with a minor if they are doing it, but if a member of the GOP sends emails they get on their high horse... don't you think the Democrats need to set their priorities straight?

I havn't heard any republican defend what Foley alegedly did. Whom are you referring to specifically and how is what they have done making excuses for his behavior? Did you learn a new word, "Neo-Con"?
