Don't the conservatives have a plan? Are they admitiing it needs a plan? Are they saying that it will definitely not be resolved in the next two years? I'm getting nervous that they are out of ideas, and are turning to the libs to help them out...

I am in a Multimedia class, and the instructor has asked us to find out what the term for blacked out blotted censoring on things like FBI documents is. He says the word he is looking for starts with the letter "R" An example is on the second page of this document:

Let's say you have someone in the car with you who, by the off chance, is seriously injured and maybe even close to death or the all time clichéd pregnant woman in the car.. Which laws will allow you to go faster than the advised speed limit, is it different in other states? What is the threshold between priority and safety of other people sharing the road?

Why does this American Congress require every Congressperson to sign a statement, at their Congressional Hearings, that they must keep their mouths shut regarding what they hear at these hearings?

Then...

Why is it that everything said at these hearings shows up on the front pages of most American newspapers the next day?

Let me put my cards on the table: I am a lazy good for nothing waster. But it,s not my fault!
My Father was lazy as was his father before him.
It's in my genes.
Why is it that when I apply for ajob ,and honestly inform my future employer that I am a lazy bastard ,I am turned down for the position?
If I keep my constant state of idleness secret I get the job but I find myself being kicked out of the door within hours.
Today in Britain a new law is on the statute book that makes it illegal for an employer to turn down an applicant because the may consider him or her to be too old.
We also have similar laws regarding racism ,sexism and homophobia.
Why is it that lazy people get no support from anyone?
Doing any sort of hard work makes me tired and the next morning my muscles ache.
My body tells me that It isn't right for me.
Please, will someome help me start a campaign . Lets make it illegal to discriminate against lazy people.
KICK LAZYIZM OUT OF THE WORKPLACE

Most candidates who have served in the military use their service record as one of their personal qualifications. Given the role of the U.S. military in the geopolitical conflicts of the 20th century, should we require a candidate for the office to have served at least 4 years of active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces ?

I think there should be an investigation, but the subject of it should not be the Republican leadership which—like the newspaper which had the comparatively mild emails between Foley and a former page — could not investigate further because the parents of the 16 year old who had initiated the correspondence wanted to protect his privacy. These emails, which led to a warning to pages to keep a certain distance from Foley, were of a far different character than the explicit IM messages, which were only revealed to the House leadership after appearing in the press.

Once the House leadership was appraised of the incriminating messages, Foley was in effect cashiered out.

The important matter requiring investigation is how a recently-created anonymous blogger got the email correspondence which the boy’s parents had insisted be kept quiet. And how the blog site, which had virtually no posts and no traffic suddenly caught the attention of Foley’s opponent

My boyfriend is Austrian and has lived in the U.S. for the past 6 years. He has recently been sent back to Austria for some reason. He is working on getting a green card but there are a few different methods of getting one. If anyone has any suggestions on which one would be best, please let me know.

Thanks,

Why, out of one side of his mouth, does Bush romance the people of Iran, by telling them how much he loves them, then out of the other side has been carrying on covert operations there since January, has already identified thousands of bombing targets, has already imposed a Naval blockade and is already cooking up fake intelligence reports? Deja Vu?

YES we all came here from immigrants. LEGAL ONES!! Who had to follow a process, become immunized, de-loused, and THEN faced the music of trying to fit in. A very small percent of the US population is even related to the immigrants who came here and took over native americans. LESS than 7% of blacks are descendants of slavery. You guys mostly came AFTER all that. It is great to get a feel for your ancesters and their culture BUT, we have a culture now together. I think as a whole that we welcome any culture that respects ours and comes here in the right way.

This Q & A is about illegals. Any US Citizen that supports anything illegal whether it is immigrants or drugs or anything else should think about where they are and why they are here.

So when someone asks a question, can we just get an answer that requires a little bit of thought? (without name calling?)

I've just come out of hospital after being admitted as an emergency case last week. I have nothing but praise for those who helped me in the last few days. In my opinion they are understaffed, underpaid, under-resourced and overworked but still manage to provide a level of care for which I for one am grateful. What do you think?

Is it mandatory to use a letting agent? I've found some of them to be con artists and they don't seem to do much of a job. If I can let my house out individually what things should I look out for that prove to be crucial later on down the line. How much deposit is usually charged and what can I do to ensure that the tenants continue to pay the rent on time and vacate the property when asked to do so and not squat. Should I actually include this as a clause in the contract or is that not allowed?
