Should governments have Prisons?

Yes. I worked in a prison and most of the people in there richly deserved to be locked up, or worse. Not a group I would want to hang out with.

NO.
It should have only workhouses as people in the workhouses will turn over to a new leaf.

Sorry... in some causes yes in others NO!!! Steeling drugs, yes. Murder, rape, molestation, NO. any body who murders should be put in front of a firring squad. attempted murder as well.
