Don't the conservatives have a plan? Are they admitiing it needs a plan? Are they saying that it will definitely not be resolved in the next two years? I'm getting nervous that they are out of ideas, and are turning to the libs to help them out...

cvq, feel free to browse my answers and find out what my ideas are. I have posted them sevearl times. Only problem is, cons don't want to address them, just give a thumbs down, and smear libs. Pointless...

no, Will, you shouldn't rely on guessing when it comes to me...I have posted several times what my ideas are (although cons have never wanted a real answer) and I am not liberal. But thanks for broad sweeping generalizations with no facts to back it up...

I redirect because I have answered this question. I don't answer questions when I ask them. That is how this works. Dallas, if you would like to ask, and then email the question to me, I will be happy to respond, again, and in vain. So much hate here! And again, I am not a liberal, a democrat, nor am I running for office. I just think it hypocritical to ask dems who are obviously against the war, to show the cons haw to win it. It's your war. You should finish it while you are still on the clock.

ahhhhhhhh...I was wondering how long it would take for one of you to not answer my question while simultaneously calling me a baby killer, and assuming that I am liberal (because you don't read details.)

Actually, the conservative plan is EXACTLY the same as the liberal plan. I think this is the funniest poltical arguement I've seen.

1. Dem Plan: Train Iraqi Army and Get out of Iraq ASAP
2. Rep Plan: Train Iraqi Army and Get out of Iraq ASAP

Right now, Iraq is a huge issue. If the Democrats want to get back in power, they need to explain why they they can do a better job than Republicans - hence the question 'what is your plan?', as in: 'We know what Republicans are doing in Iraq, but before we vote you in office, tell us what you plan to do there'. That seems like a reasonable question to me. I'm guessing from your question that you are simply defaulting to 'Democrats are better' without question.

[edit]
I never called you a liberal. I just claim that you don't seem to question Democrat party motives and ideas as hard as Republican ones. Why the assumption that 'they need a plan'? They've always said Iraq will take a long time. The Republican plan is as stated: "to stand up the Iraqi army, fix the infrastructure, stabilize the political situation, then leave". No body ever said it would be easy or quick. All we are hearing from Democrat leadership is "we can do better" or "we need to pull the troops out". I'd like to hear some specifics from liberals. Since you're not one, your ideas don't count as a 'liberal' plan.

They're asking liberals what their plan is because if the Democrats want to take charge in the next Congress, the public has a right to know. Seems like a fair question that hasn't gotten an answer from any candidate I've heard so far.

Oh come on. It has nothing to do with conservatives not having a plan. It's simple. Democrats want to win back the house and the senate this year. Such a win would have a profound effect on policy and a complete shift in power. It is a legitimate question to ask "If you win back the legislative branch, what is your plan on Iraq, Iran, North Korea, the economy, homeland security, social security, and all the others?" Give me a good answer and I vote Democrat. Give me "Bush sucks, vote for us" and I don't. Simple.

The conservatives have a plan, it is the one in place. Conservatives ask the question because they hear liberals say "We need to do something about Iraq." The conservatives are playing devil's advocate by asking the liberals what their plan would be.

The Bush administration has a plan - train the Iraqi forces and leave. It may not work in two years, it may not work at all.

It's natural to ask for the alternative, if an election is coming up. what could possibly be wrong with that?

So, what is it?

Conservatives have a plan, it is in use right now and working. We just think that if the loyal opposition is going to run their lips knocking it 24/7/365, they should have something better. All they seem to have is "I hate Bush" and that is not a plan, it's blind, stupid emotion.

Liberals always make blanket statements like "We'll fight a smarter war." or "We will do things differently." They never have a specific answer.

The plan is happening right now in Iraq.

Libs to this day, would still not have acted in response to terrorism.
