My Mexican American Los Angeles native born wife said she doesn't speak out against illegal immigration to avoid being associated in any way with ignorant, uneducated psychotic Internet freaks such as yourself and she is too busy in her law practice and volunteer work.
She also banned me from clicking onto the youtube link because she said "it's for skanks."
Sorry, lost her vote, dude.

Well my husband and his family or were born citizens as Puerto Ricans do not like illegal immigration but they don't rally. I do agree that these Latino organizations composed primarily of legal immigrants and/or Puerto Ricans should not be supporting illegals simply because they are Latinos. It's the issue that is important, not the ethnicity of the illegals. I also don't understand why people think illegal immigration is a Latino problem. There are many illegals in this country who are not Latinos of any kinds and are disappearing into society because the focus of this issue is on the Latinos. Illegal immigration should not be acceptable in any form for anyone.
Let's remember that "race" and "racism" have absolutely nothing to do with this subject or Latinos. Further, Youtube is not evidence for anything except bad amateur video exist.

The fact that any of them dare to speak out surprises and pleases me. It is considered to be a racial issue by so many people that some might think it's the same as being a traitor to your race/heritage/people. People I know are very confused about this issue. Some think that because they had children with an illegal or are/used to be married to an illegal that it would be hypocritical to be against illegal immigration, even though they personally are against it and have seen the harm it causes first hand. I'll shake hands with anybody brave enough to speak out about this problem, and I do explain to others that hatred and racism has nothing to do with this.

because they know it's not a racial thing.
These people worked hard to immigrate legally and did all the processes correctly...
while they may understand the plight that the illegal immigrants go through, they themselves are silently opposed to it. Silently because they understand, and opposed because they will be shortchanged having immigrated legally, spending all that time, money, and effort when they could've done it illegally.

Don't you get it.....they are of the same lineage. One example of why your question is not nice..... Buy is legal......His mom does not have papers. Son can't get off work....Mom comes to visit son....but she is an illegal on our soil. It is time that people like you wake up and realize that our immigration policy and standards are designed to keep certain classes in fear and oppressed. So should this son report his mother.

Many have and many do. They don't get much media coverage, because that isn't what the left leaning media want known.
