"House and Senate negotiators agreed Monday evening to spend $1.2 billion to install hundreds of miles of fence and vehicle barriers along the Mexican border as part of a $34.8 billion spending plan for the Department of Homeland Security for the coming year.

The biggest increase in spending in the bill, on which the House and Senate are expected to take final action on this week, is in the area of border security and immigration enforcement, which would get a total of $21.3 billion, an 11 percent jump over this year.

This includes money to hire 1,500 new Border Patrol agents, increasing the force to 14,800, and to add 6,700 detention beds. The $1.2 billion for border security is designated for a traditional fence, vehicle barriers and a so-called virtual fence made up of cameras and sensors.

When I have time, I check out comedy, football, nature & maybe a movie. But clicking thru channels-most of it is either for women or for social retards. ***

There's vomiting, being a jerkoff, harrassing others (which is called shock tv) & "reality tv."
Which is where a bunch of spoiled *ssholes get together to lie & f*ck over others.

BTW, did anyone notice suddenly the news suddenly has great looking women on every channel. Is that because it's so biased today?

Why is TV "teaching" younger adults that it's cool
to lie and bad ethics is in? Since humans learn faster via audio visual, I'd think TV would have some kind of responsibility...towards society other than grabbing as much advertising $$ as possible.

Psst message to TV execs, if we are supposedly fighting extreme Muslims who say USA is a deplorable culture, why do YOU egg them on with such distastful crud?

Affirmative action: aka "Unfair action". All it is, is blaming an entire race of people on what their "ancestors" did to "vulnerable races" two centuries ago. To me blaming this generation of white people on people back then is no different than blaming a small child because his father raped a woman. It is 100% unfair and wrong. Plus, in ten years when the US is mainly Latino affirmative action will STILL be in place if we don't fight it. And usually Latinos are more prejudice than whites. (If you don't believe me, spend some time in California). Plus, latinos and blacks can get welfare just by showing up at a welfare office, whites have to prove they are poor. And its already unfair that Blacks and hispanics get their own magazines and TV channel. And they say that want equality yet they want to be different??? (scratching head). And with affirmative action its okay for a black or hispanic to f*ck up in a job but if a white did they would lose their job. Thats the truth.

My 1SG just called me and asked me if i wanted to go to fort bragg on a mission (I'm in the guard). Isn't Fort Bragg a mobilization unit? If I do go will I end up in iraq? I'm just wondering, I just got out of training and really havent learned about the army yet.

Someone is convicted of a crime and serving the sentence but gets accused doing another criminal activities while in prison and presume to be guilty of that crime without proper investigation. Would this person need a federal appointed public attorney to represent him, if not, what can be done....

There are many countries out there that see women as inferior. They do not even grant them the right to vote, let alone their voice in opinions. Do you think that a woman president would make these closed minded nations lose respect for the united states and cause other nations to think we are an easy target economically or militarily? Here's a hypothetical:

"Lucy" drives a very large, high van for a wheelchair bound woman, "Martha." Lucy and Martha go out for dinner one evening. Martha has to use the restroom before leaving, so Lucy goes outside to the van. It is not parked in a handicapped spot because they were all full when they got to the restaurant.

Lucy lowers the lift, which is approximately 1 1/2 - 2" thick. When she lowers it, it becomes almost flush with the ground, and is now resting in the adjacent parking space. Lucy doesn't want any bugs in the car, so she closes up the van doors and goes and sits in the front of the van. There are no console lights on, nor are the headlights on. MORE..
