Allowing individuals to congregate in certain areas or districts, ie china town, etc. allows people of the same background to more closely comtrol their cuture. By enforcing multicultures living together and breaking up these communities does this benefit each culture or weaken them to the point that there is only 1 blended culture and is that the multi cutlural state our governments aim for?
(Just to clarify I am all for freedom of international movement and people accepting the basics of the coutry the adopt, namely the language, but not being forced to adapt their religion or historic traditons)

The Big Wall? Deport them all? Who pays for all that?
here is how it works in Spain: we get over a thousand people coming in by boat illegally here (from Africa) and double that by bus from eastern Europe. Illegal immigrants have a hard time finding a job because there is a 60000€ fine per worker if the employer is caught. When that happens the illegal worker can file for residence because he was employed and was denied the right to pay taxes. I see the illegal immigrants here treated humanely. Why some brainwashed people in the US keep blaming the immigrants for their desire to a better life instead of blaming the employers who hire them? Please explain!

Okay...we all know it's because it looks so cool on those science-fiction programs masquerading as police shows. Do they have any idea what the work actually involves? Just how tedious and dull some of the tasks can be? Or how disgusting it can be to see dead bodies and the stuff that comes out of them? Not to mention the low job demand - we only have two guys who do that for us in our agency - and it's a pretty good size Sheriff's Office. I tell a lot of these kids to apply to the jail or patrol and work their way up, but they seem to think they can circumvent that and go straight to CSI (they can't). I mean, don't listen to me, I've only been doing this for a decade. Do young people ever have ideas about their futures which DON'T involve the media telling them what to think?

have to make concessions to militant bastards?

i read alot of stuff on here, and over and over i see people who think unreasonable people can be reasoned with. this is lunacy.
leaders and leaders of "states" have proven over time that they cannot be trusted(feel free to complain about any or all, i'm open minded and want to understand a different path of logic)

i'll use the logical example...
what the pope said, was taken completely out of context, a bunch of unreasonable people have done a bunch of unreasonable crap, and now a bunch of clerics want him removed.(again unreasonable) did they even hear the speech? they by themselves are proving what the pope said, to be true. yet the civilized world needs to respond with reason. tact, and political correctness. seems more like a bunch of spoiled children, having a fit. if my children have a fit, the last thing i'm going to do is cave in to that fit. how would that help the situation?

For cying out loud, where were my fellow Republicans when it came time to tell the thug that his attacks on our President and, by extension, our country, aren't welcome?

Charlie Rangel and I never agreed on anything before he opened his mouth and stood up to Hugo yesterday. I respect him for it.

About 3 months ago, as a one off, I paid a bill over the phone with my debit card. I did not give the company any authority to go back to my bank account a few months later and take money out...but this is what exactly they did and it left my account overdrawn.
I found out today that two unauthorised payments have been taken out of my account as Debit card payment.

The bank says, it has nothing to do with them because i gave my account details to this company.

The company says the deductions were due to computer error, but they wont refund my money or pay the bank charges.

Where do i stand?

We’ve all heard the rhetoric from the current regime about freedom not being free. The substance of that is true, however, I think that catch phrase should relate more to sacrificing ones blood, not one’s ideals or basic rights.
When did domestic spying and being jailed without charges become ok?
For those who say “If you’ve done nothing wrong, you have nothing to be afraid of”, that is just sympathetic apathy for a populous that has become so complacent with a “Big Brother” government that we ignore the rights of others just so we can get on with our daily routines.
Does anyone truly believe that innocent people aren’t jailed and or tortured every day in the United States? Is THAT the price to pay for freedom? I thought the basic premise of the judicial system in our democracy was that everyone is innocent until PROVEN guilty under due process of the law. When we circumvent that, we move closer to a totalitarian form of government and further away from democracy.

Chavez called Bush the devil and an alcoholic, then Democrat Charlie Rangel decided to speak out against Chavez for doing so- but what did the Demcrats expect?

They have spent the last 6 years trashing Bush will all sorts of names and accusations and have helped cultivate a global image of Bush that is very unappealing.

Of course Chavez felt free to come here and trash Bush, as the Democrats have told the world over and over that Bush "stole" the election and that America "knows it", Chavez came here thinking that the people of the USA were behind him.

Since the Dems put that kind of nonsense out globally, why should they be so taken aback when they find out the world believes it?

Does Rangel have a right to be mad since his party laid the foundation for the comments in the first place?

Most people when they are heavy drug addicts are sent to prison or rehab.

Rush Limbuagh was not sent to prison, by a liberal court!

Shouldn't Rush be thanking the liberals for not sending him to prison?

Isn't it hypocritical that someone who hates liberal courts, was saved by one?

ARMENIA WANTS COMPENSATION FROM TURKS....

If we are really make Genocide to Armenians why they exist in Turkey??? in Armenian you couldnt find any Turks because that time they genocide all turks who lived in Armenian side...Mostly popeple to similear Jewish Genocide with Armenians issue...its 2 different things....

About genocide of jewish ppl...I could say you the reason why jewish ppl still be exist in the world and still live in Germany...

Moreover, while of Huge Turkish Ottoman protected Jewish ppl in past...but Jewish society kills us(muslims)....

its a 2 reason;
First reason is: Ottoman Empire protected Jewish ppl in Spain while they murdered and killed them..we take them and protected from Christians...

Second reason is: when Germany lose war in Russia... Russian ppl come to Germany and saved Jewish ppl from TORTURE PRISONS...that is second reason......

if Turkish ppl and Russian ppl didnt protected Jewish ppl they will never exist in

Since 2001 America has increased its contribution to global warming and environmental degradation, shaken the world's economy, started wars, illegally invaded countries, violated international treaties to which it was signed, caused tens of thousands of violent deaths in various parts of the world. Yet still Americans are not united in their oppostion to the Administration which is threatening the safety of the entire planet, their own population included. What should the world do to reign in this destructive super-power?
