1. I think corporal punishment (caning, whipping) should be reinstated. All this soft-fuzzy anger management and other counseling does not seem to bring about the necessary change in attitude in young offenders to steer them away from a life of crime.
2. Repeal the 17th Amendment. Popular election for Senators has removed the voice of the states in the federal government; the states need their voices back.
3. Stop the War! Not the War on Terror, because that is a necessity, but the really miserable failures - the War on Poverty and the War on Drugs. These 2 wars have cost us trillions of dollars, have damaged our freedoms and rights, and have created unhealthy dependencies and dangerous government controls and abusive policies. Worst of all, they have not only NOT solved the problem, the problems are actually worse now!

I believe that the 14th amendment should be repealed and replaced. Section 1 of that amendment has 3 clauses which are vague and have been abused because of their vagueness. I believe that those 3 clauses should be replaced with other clauses which are much clearer and less open to abusive "interpretation."

Mine is: Religion is the scourge of humanity.
It has outlived its usefulness and now only destroys the human mind along with productive, just and efficient societies.

I don't fear death. A lot of people are like I don't want to die, it might be painful, but I don't really see it as that. I guess because I know where I am going afterwards.

I think it is time for the North to secede from the South. We are better educated, and our industry is stronger. Plus we don't like country music nearly as much.

I don't use drugs or drink alcohol, but I believe marijuana should be decriminalized and regulated the way liquor is. (I don't feel that way about other classes of drugs. ) Tax the heck out of it and use the proceeds of the taxes to fund drug treatment programs.

I think all religious belief is based on comfort and familiarity, not true conviction.
