A few dozen tanks secured the megalopolis of Bangkok in a few hours. Bangkok has just under half the population of all of Iraq.

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that most Americans are complete idiots when it comes to politics and presidential candidates. All you hear is how George Bush raises gas prices, gives tax breaks to big business, wants to drill in the Alaskan wildlife reserve, losing the war on terrorism, etc. etc. People nowadays believe what they see on the liberal news, read in liberal newspapers and such. People don't even know what the Republican party stands for, as it is highly demonized by the media and immoral minority groups. They do not understand that democrats want to RAISE your taxes signifigantly, and spend your money on total worthless crap that does not benefit our country, yet for some reason, I always hear Bush being blamed for taxes and inflation. I mean he only cut taxes by 25% But thats something you don't hear everyday. I think people should be able to pass a series of political tests before being able to vote, and I assure you, that republicans would come out on top!

There won't be a confrontation on the General Assembly lunch menu today because the Iranian president has decided to skip it - passing up his best shot at ambushing President Bush with an impromptu debate.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has challenged Bush to a debate, and when the U.S. President turned him down, he suggested he would dog Bush at this week's General Assembly.

Bush has made it clear that he does not want to run into Ahmadinejad at the UN General Assembly this week because of Iran's secretive nuclear program, its support for terror groups like Hezbollah and vile comments the Iranian leader made calling for Israel to be "wiped off the map."

Iran's president is a puss and now we all know it. Buwahahahahaha

I was astonished at Lil' Kim showing up at the Video Music Awards being escorted by security and in an orange jumpsuit and cuffs. She has already shown her contempt for the law by purgery - now this act simply shows she has learned nothing. I believe another year in prison, a real prison might be just the punishment she needs. She needs to learn some respect and realize that SOME young girls look up to her as role model. She needs to act like she has some sense. What do you think, another year in prison or not?

I've always been a fan of "Charlie" Kennedy and would love to see his return to lead the Lib Dems. (I have to say that I have a vested interest, being a member of the party). Would be interested to know what others felt - sensible answers only please!

The Republicans are pushing this war in Iraq. ( Most of them ) I see on CNN there are more Americans dead and the Republicans say "This is winning". I sit here laughing at the Republicans as I watch the war go down like Vietnam. Is the shame coming soon for them?

I own a small business and a guy comes in and nails me in the face. I proceed to fight him until he is not coming after me. I call the police and they arrest both of us. After the fact they find a gun in his pants. They say that I should have not fought back and I would not have committed a crime. Is this right?

It clearly states on thier website that they have no affiliation with, nor will they accept any assistance by or interference from, separatists, racists, or supremacy groups. They even get hate mail saying they are racist http://www.minutemanproject.com/default.asp?contentID=20

Why are illegals trying to use the race card on something that doesnt have to do with race? Illegal is illegal, its that simple. Isnt it?

These questions about Darwin's evolution theory of origins seem like they belong in the religion section. Social Darwinism is only a modern euphemism which cons use because everyone is familiar with the concept of "survival of the fittest." It seems illogical to be combining the concepts and using them to attack cons politically. Am I the only one who is noticing this incongruity?
Opinions please?!

What if American's responded to the pres. of Iran's comments about imagining a world without the United States the way Muslims have responded to the Pope's speech. Are anyone's words truly worthy of death? Words are words and nothing more. When I was growing up we had a phrase that seems to have disappeared with political correctness and overly sensitive people. That saying was:
Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me.

So anyone up for a little rioting and mayhem? just kidding of coarse.

Why isn't Yahoo putting up stories about the Cheney-Specter Bill? This is about a free pass to write over the Fourth Amendment and if we can blow other mindless drivel out of proportion on our news channels then this griveous misuse of government power should be on display as well.
